I've been searching for some shrooms lately to immerse myself into the world of psychedelics but to no avail, at least around this time of year.

But a friend of mine texted me in school today saying "wanna do acid?".
And yeah, I do want to do acid. I know it isn't the ideal first psychedelic because if you have a bad time ( I believe I'd handle myself tho) it lasts longer than shrooms.

They're four bucks a hit. But my friend just wants to "get fucked up" and "see shit". The other friend is in a better mindset. But what I want to know is would this mindset trigger a bad experience. He has also been kinda depressed about a family members death a while back.

You really can't predict how your trip will go. If you and your friend are really worried you should keep some benzos and alcohol handy in case your trip goes awry.

I'm not worried, I am not even scared of a bad trip. If I can't talk myself down, I'll just ride with it.

don't bother trying to figure out what the trip will be like, because once you do it its going to be nothing at all like what you thought it would be in the first place...

dont do it with someone just trying to get fucked up and see shit, try to do it with someone with a good open mindset and not really depressed if you can... just take a couple of hits, and as the girl who introduced me to this wonderful drug said "just let the lovin take hold".. my first trip was simply beautiful, more of a mindfuck than visual, i felt insane but held onto the thought of "everything will be normal by sunrise".... on erowid i believe it says it causes a mood lift, that was an understatement that i didn't expect to be so drastic... opiates cause a mood lift, acid took the happiest i had ever felt up until that point and multiplied it by a few thousand times.... i felt so happy for once, i laughed because it felt so good to laugh... then i laughed at myself for laughing at nothing other than it feeling good, and it was one insane pattern of happy and laughing...

go for a long walk, or if it feels like the right thing to do jog... it can be pretty stimulating... i prefer to do acid on a nice clear night so i can see the hundreds of thousands of stars that litter the sky like god had puked diamonds across it. watching the street lights sway and the shadows moving around as if they were alive. walking down the street at night for me has the feeling of walking into a beautiful and perfect painting...

like i said before my first trip was a mind fuck like i had never experienced before. thousands upon thousands would race through my head, one revelation about myself, those around me, and the universe. I would close my eyes for what felt like hours of thoughts only to open them again and see that only a few minutes had passed....

Yea shrooms would have been an easier psychedelic to handle for me at around 2 grams, which i found to be pretty nice. heavily visual but not to much of a mind fucking... but i never regretted that first trip, it was intense and one of the most powerful experiences of my life, but i learned alot about myself that night that i wouldn't give up for the world... so my advice is find someone to do it with, take a couple of hits and have a nice trip...

i took 1 and a half hits my first time, but it was some pretty good acid according to some people i know who had taken the same hits...

If I were you, I'd do a few tabs.

It's important to be having a good time and doing fun things BEFORE you take the acid. A lot of people will buy it, get anxious about it, take it when everyone is together, wait a while, and think that the fun starts when you start tripping. While things do become more fun when you start tripping, it's always much easier if you're already doing interesting things.

where do you live that acid is $4 a hit, its fucking impossible to get in the western suburbs of chicago and when i can its like $10-15 a hit

Yes its also where you are. I know people would get acid for 1 dollar or less a hit, and go into the burbs and those highschool kids there would pay 25 for 2 hits .

Acid was my first real psychedelic, and I'd recommend it as a first to others aswell. Tripping with people just wanting to get fucked up isn't a bad idea, because it isn't a negative mindset. However I would recommend printing out a short but good trip report to give to him before he trips. 4 dollars a tab is pretty good. Also, ask the guy you're getting it from how strong it is. However, if you cannot ensure a stable enviroment for the whole trip, I recommend that you wait with it. It sounds like you really want a trip, so take a full hit if he reports its strong, or two if he says its medium/weak.

Lol people remember that kinda stuff. Sure did! My dad and stepmom were out for the night, so around 6 o clock, he took 6 hits and I took 1. It wasn't his first time though. We stayed up all night listening to music and playing video games. He still lives in Canada, and he's sending me a few hits here to Norway. Awesome thing is that he's getting extremely powerful hits for 150$ for 50, and in Norway they're worth 50$ for one.
