Mushroom Question
I bought some shrooms, they're dry and somewhat crispy, like hay, and white-ish with some white powdery stuff that rubs off fairly easily.
the caps are nice and brown, and shriveled, none are greater than a 1/2 inch in diameter, but the stems seem a bit dark in places, is this normal or are they bruised? i'm not sure how to tell
also, what is a good ratio of stems-to-caps? are the stems as potent as the caps are? I got 7 caps (with attached stems) and about 14 capless stems, for at total of 10.5g. cost me $80

Re: Mushroom Question
after closer inspection the dark bits only appear in a few places, mainly where the interior of the stem has been exposed
like this, only less pronounced

Re: Mushroom Question
darker color is normal,
usually about 1g of caps to 2g of stems,
the price is a little high but you pay what you have to.

Re: Mushroom Question
the bruises, if they're blue tend to ensure they're real mushrooms although some poisonous ones do bruise blue too. stems, in my opinion are just as potent as the caps and i actually think its about the same amount of psilocybin throughout the mushroom. just eat an eighth and have fun.

Mushrooms that contain psilocybin bruise blue. However, many of mushrooms that contain psilocybin are also poisonous. Caps are more potent, but the stems contain plenty of psilocybin to be worth eating.

Re: Mushroom Question
did u get it form a reputable dealer? As far as your ratio question, it doesnt matter to much, i personally wouldnt take a sack with no caps, but u'd still trip fine if you did. and theres alot of spores in the shake too.

Not exactly many. There are many more non-toxic psilocybin containing mushrooms than there are toxic ones.
The stems and caps are for the most part equal in terms of [4-OH-DMT]. Caps have a slight bit more than the stems, but in many cases, this is negligible.
