Beer FTW. Which do you think is better? Beer is definitely better by far. Ok so you don't get drunk immediately but it tastes good and its refreshing. It's more relaxing to enjoy your beverage and not have to down some nasty ass vodka that makes you feel like puking. Not that I can't handle hard alcohol just beer is so much more enjoyable. Hard alcohol is some nasty shit but stuff like Jack Daniels and crown royal is good. Vodka and rum are fucking terrible and its necessary to chase. But I never even drink hard alcohol anymore, and anyone who likes hard alcohol better than beer is a kidiot.

I'd always rather a few good beers. The experience is so much nicer: sit back and have a swallow of a delicious beverage every once in a while, progressively easing into the warm feeling of alcoholic contentment. Whiskey's okay for a few shots but I can't really drink it or vodka/rum/etc for taste... just don't like it as much, and the experience is over so much more quickly. If you know what I mean.

Above average beers are great to just relax on. Then again i've just relaxed with people with screwdrivers even though we ended up always getting completely trashed. Vodka,whiskey and Jagermeister are usually what i drink. With alcohol i never try to get to the point of puking. So i usually just smoke some weed before/after i drink if i'm going to be drinking more than usual.

Personally I love beer , it's a relaxing way to enjoy conversation and also get drunk along the way.

But I also am in the crosshairs with whiskey. I love the buzz and the giddiness and energy you get from the burst of alcohol hitting you. Vodka kind of just puts me down hard honestly. I get floored with vodka. Then theres gin , to me it mixes the whiskey and vodka drunk together to make a perfect feeling.
I drink gin if iam going for a walk , for lounging , or for feeling like i want to regret something. Now if anyone can provide solid evidence as to why differant spirits give you a differant feel can they post it? I cant seem to find anything. Would it have to do with sugars or how quick your body breaks it down ?

Personally I'd rather have some straight shots of vodka then beer.

I hate being bloated with all that beer in my stomach, and it makes you piss so much more. I like to have occasional shots throughout the night rather than a ton of beer.

In addition, I would rather have a liquor drunk than a beer drunk. My personal favorite is a wine drunk, but that's off topic. Being drunk off beer makes me feel...sloppy. Off liquor I feel more crisp. But then again that is also my personal opinion.

In the end beer is good for those hot summer days, but in the end I'd rather have some hard liquor over beer any day.

Beer isn't a hassle, downing straight shots of nasty fucking vodka is a hassle. Makes you sick to your stomach then you have to chase it otherwise it leaves a crappy taste in your mouth. You only have to drink about 6 or 7 beers right in a row to get drunk and thats not even hard. Just do it on an empty stomach then you don't feel so full. See if you just ate before then hard alcohol would be better. Empty stomach which is the ideal situation then beer for sure.

Strangely enough I like the taste of unmixed grain vodka. I like the burning feeling it gives me, I like the feeling of having it in my mouth, I can drink half a bottle straight without coughing once. If I had some kind of deficiency or super-human strength in my liver that allowed me to drink alcohol without ever becoming drunk, I'd still drink it.

Same thing with beer, especially the good, blonde kind. Then again I live in Belgium, which is a beer drinker's walhalla. I would've prefered Russia though...

I hate beer, I really can't stand to drink it. For me the taste is horrible but it could be something in my head because my mother is an alcoholic that drinks beer and she disguists me. Hard alcohol for me, does the job and the right mixes are just damn tasty.

I've got a friend who loves hard alcohol and can drink straight vodka till he passes out, me on the otherhand cannot the taste turns my stomache and makes me feel ill after a couple of drinks. The only time i'll drink hard alcohol is JD with lemonade or tequila shots or sambuca at the bar.

I prefer beer generally, it's just a good way to relax and have a few pints. If I'm on the spirits though, I prefer quality vodka or gin on ice. Good quality clear spirits don't fuck you over the next morning as much as cheap dark ones (such as JD).

I'm very picky with my beers, but I like Hahn Premium Light and Crown. It's a good starter drinks, once I'm starting to get a buzz going I'll switch to JD until I'm sick of drinking and want to sleep. But I'd probably say beer.

In my area you are considered a pussy if you drink mixed drinks. I was taught how to drink by my older workmates (alcoholics who drink a 40 pounder a day) who taught me how to mix drinks.
