I know i'm bringing up an old post but this must be said. My friend recently o'd on fentanyl. He totally stopped breathing, could not be jump started, but the emt's got there in time with their machine. At the hospital one of the nurses told me that they often use fentanyl to get a person to stop breathing so they can get the tube in when putting a person on the machine. Fentanyl causes respiratory arrest!
