So i'm sure many of you are familiar with buckets, which i've been using lately as an extremely efficient way to get absolutely baked. If you aren't familiar with buckets check out www.haveabucket.com.

The only downside i've found with buckets is that the hits are generally pretty harsh and unpleasant, which is understandable given the intensity of the hit. I've just learned to deal with it. Unfortunate thing is that alot of my friends who are more casual in their potsmoking, after me brewing them a bucket or two, have come to hate it despite its conservational brilliance just cause it tastes bad/is harsh on the lungs. Fair enough i guess....

So today me and a friend built a bucket-bong hybrid. Basically a bucket system that filters the smoke through water (like a bong) to cool the smoke and make it much more pleasant to inhale. Anyone ever try this? It's pretty fuckin excellent. Basically all the baked-as-fuckness of buckets, with the smoothness of a bong. Beautiful!

For those wondering about construction methods, we first took a 2 litre plastic bottle and melted several small holes in the bottom. Then we took about eight inches of plastic tubing, melted a hole near the top of the bottle, ran the tubing into the bottle and attached a small bowlpiece to the top of the tube. You put the cap on the bottle, brew the bucket as you normally would, then take the cap off and hit it. The key to activate proper vacuum pressure for the bowl to brew is that you lift the bottle entirely out of the water as you begin to light it, rather than slowly pulling it out of the water during the lighting process.

So basically this is an amazing technique to smoke weed, possibly the best i've ever encountered. Anyone done something similar? Give it a shot... all you really need is a bit of plastic tubing and a billpiece. Happy blazing.

Just get a 5-gallon water cooler bottle, tuba mouthpiece, a pool/bathtub, and a shit load of weed and friends.

Why a trumpet mouthpiece? Why not... you know... use a regular fucking glass bowl?

I find that using a 3/8 inch boring bit on a 3-liter bottle cap fits the bowl piece's stem perfectly. Just roll the rubber gasket down to ensure its air-tight. You can slide the cap up and down the stem to provide a fairly stable base (given your bowl isn't too top-heavy) when you're loading it, and then you slide it up to the rubber gasket to make a good seal. Then you carefully screw the cap on with a full bowl and full bottle, then you either pull the bottle up (GB) or move your thumb and let the water drain (Waterfall).

Works perfectly for me.

Also, you can easily find a 3.8 inch wide tube to slip over the stem peice to the bottom of the bucket/waterfall to make it a bubble bucket or bubblefall for ultra-smooth fuck-your-shit-up hits.
