It seems like about half the times I've ever tripped I get some sort of weird aching feeling in the back of my neck and sometimes it spreads into a headache. Why? Is it pretty common for that to happen? It doesnt happen to any of my friends.

I'm guessing its just other random chemicals used in the making of it or something like that but does anyone know why this happens?

Acid always fucked my spine too. It's just one of the effects of acid. And no, it is not anything to do with strychnine.

ya that happens to me too sometimes, not recently tho, mainly the times when im really active on the acid. lately ive been on house arrest so i would just chill in my room and i have had the achy spine.

I've noticed I am tensed up without realizing it for long periods on LSD. May very well be it.

Maybe. I doubt it though because it usually seems to happen almost within the hour of dropping it when the last thing from mind is tension.

eh shit happens, i get jaw clenching and tight muscles on acid... oddly enough i still like to go running around.... i feel like i could run forever while tripping, which is kind of weired when its 2am....

I've always had either spine pain or weird prickly sensations in my feet after tripping acid. I think stuff like that is usually caused by the fact they you hold your body and posture in a weird way while tripping, often for extended periods of time. That and the fact that you often become overly aware of specific nerves and sensations on acid. Sometimes my mouth and chewing will be weird the next day too, sometimes downright painful. Part of the experience I guess.

The last time I tripped on Acid, my tailbone itched the entire time.

My tailbone had never itched before, in fact I had not even known that one's tailbone could itch.

It really gave me alot to think about for a couple of hours.

My lower back and stomach usually feel like they're locking up. It's a little uncomfortable but I can ignore it after getting used to it. I just look funny when walking. :)

I don't think it's anything harmful, just an unavoidable side affect.

I always get a tingling sensation in my hands and feet, and usually have to continually clench and unclench my hands/feet/entire body for some reason.

Off topic, but I always heavily chainsmoke while on psychadelics, and sometimes I get really paranoid that I can feel tar and gunk and mucous in my lungs...pretty horrible thing to think about whilst tripping.

Ah yaas, the strychinine thing. In the 60s, I used to get pretty severe muscle aches from the high-dosage strawberry fields and golden sunshine (never did owlsley purple, though), and always attributed it to strychnine.

I can't prove it one way or another, but I can say I never got that effect with blotter or windowpane acid.

Myself and the other person i was tripping with(on shrooms) agreed that we both felt like we were being held up by strings that were attached to our back/neck.

Tripping on LSA, when I got up to piss after about 30 minutes of chilling in the same spot/position, there was UNBEARABLE pain in my inner thighs, I can't explain how much it hurt, but it was somewhat still laughable.
