my scale, help please
I've got a us-stealth pocket scale, but when i just recently turned it on and tried to use it to weigh some product, it wasnt working correctly. It appears to be off by a decimal place, for instance i had some stuff that i knew weighed 7 grams, but it came up as .7 on my scale. The problem is with that extra decimal place i can lose up to .5 grams on every transaction. Even with the scale in oz mode, when i convert the numbers they are that decimal off. Does anyone have any ideas or should i just break down and buy a new scale.

Re: my scale, help please
Are you serious?
I may be wrong, but it sounds to be like it's not properly calibrated..
How 'bout the calibrate button and something that weighs a gram?
A king size smoke weighs a gram I'm pretty sure. Maybe 1.1 I forget. I just weighed up my smoke and it was only .8 grams. Maybe my scale needs to be calibrated.

Batteries? I've seen a scale where it was giving wrong readings, then the batteries were changed and it was correct, but it wasn't off like yours, so I dunno.

Re: my scale, help please
It's definately the calibration. Calibrate with no weight to 0.0 to adjust for the weight of the top part of the scale itself, and you should get an accurate reading.

Re: my scale, help please
Yea calibrate.
My scales came with a 100g calibration weight, and I calibrate most times before I weigh something cos it only takes like 5 seconds and then I know they are correct.
Or I just whack a 1p on it, and if it weighs 3.6g then it's good enough for me.

Actually, nickels and coins can be rub so much that they weigh less. Don't keep digi's in your pockets, keep new batteries in it, and calibrate it with a 100 gram weight. They make them for that.
If it still is working fucked up then your digitals are shit.
