a good friend of mine braindead from E?
ah gotta make this short sorry for the lack of grammar. a good friend of mine went missing for a couple days and when i went too her house her mom was crying and told me she took some e and is now braindead in canada living with her grandma. another friend of mine who goes out with her was actually able to call her and he said when she talked her voice was sortof fucked up and the only thing she said was "i really like being with you" and "im sorry." everything else was either yes or no awnsers. um i guess im posting this in bltc asking for maybe some specifics on how e could damage your brain in a way that would mimic the effects desricbed. i see it as the possiblites are taking a large amount of e and something in it fucking with her purely because of quantity or perhaps one rogue pill that had a bad chem. in it. i really dont know enough about the brain and damage to it to understnad the situation. not your typical bltc question/story i know but its just fucking scary because ive known this girl for 4 years and have never known her to fuck up in such a manner with drugs as she was very intelligent. do you guys think her brain could become permanetly fucked or might it be temporary?
alsooo one last thing which is kinda ridiclous and not something i personally believe but my friend the guy whos going out with her and some other people think that her parents are drugging her and that he never really took any e. from the phone call im thinking some weird sedatives? i dunno im real confused and dont believe that shit im just throwing it out there because this situation is fucked.

Re: a good friend of mine braindead from E?
i might have missed but did you say, how much she was doing, was it jsut one time. if it was jsut once i doubt it was E she took unless she overheated and killed off brain cells that way. and to answer your question if its temp or not, the brain definetaly regenerates, it takes alot of time tho, she will ahve to stop using and live a stress free life for awhile. stress stops the brain from regenerating as quickly. sorry to hear about your friend tho.

Re: a good friend of mine braindead from E?
if it was e that made her this way it was a single dose that did is as her brain was fine a few days before and she does it sparingly enough that long term use damage would not be a problem.
her parents are crazy and im starting to beleive they might be lying about e doing this. all i know is her brain is now fucked and it wasent last weekend.

Yeah, they are lying, if she is careful in her dosage there is no fucking way MDMA did that.
But you see? THIS is why people need to KNOW what they are ingesting. I know I say this a lot, and I sell them, but they are not related, I've always said this long before I started selling them, and I don't care if you buy from me, the point is that you get one, no matter where it's from.

Woah... is it just me, or am I quoting SN way too often nowadays? :o

Yeah I agree theres no way mdma did this to her. With the e thing i was worried about a pill cut with some type of random chem that might damage the brain and if thats the case then yeah the kit would have worked..
Well if it's not e (my friend is insisting despite her parents claims that she did not take e) then i wonder what the fuck did this to her... Anyone aware of a chem. that might make one "braindead?" I guess I can't give details about her condition too much as all I know is that according to her parents (who are nuts) that she took e and is now braindead and in canada (which is weird because one day before their story was shes braindead in her room.) Then the thing about her sounding strange and not being able to form sentences on the phone. So uh either a random drug which i can't begin to guess fucked up her brain, shes being drugged for some reason, or um she had hidden mental problems and some sort of psychedelic rendered her unable to talk coherently. I dunno but until i see her in person and see her mental state I can't say that e would cause what ever the fuck is happening to her.
As a bonus to this her parents said shes never coming back. Hmm this is more detective type shit then bltc but whatever.

The only thing I could think of that is in anyway recreational is PMA. If it wasn't that, someone would have had to intentionally put in a neurotoxin. Your friends probably fine, give her a few days. Some people have trouble integrating experiences shortly afterwards.

Re: a good friend of mine braindead from E?
they probably killed her for not participating in secretive incestual rituals with her dad while her mom videotaped it. Now they're covering it up...
Doesn't sound plausible. I did have a friend OD on E and methadone though.... his mental state degenerated to that of a child. After a year of rehabilitation, he was pretty much normal. But that's my buddy T, I'm convinced he's invincible and probably the next anti christ.

This, as well as....

This.
During my multiple datura trips the entire week-after-period for each trip i kept apologizing to people for NOTHING. I had no idea what was wrong, but i was sure it was my fault, and that i had fucked up somehow, and it was all going to ruined FOREVER.
My parents thought something horrible had happened to me emotionally and i was depressed. Her parents are probably just riding that wave of E-is-the-devil that the media has been generating lately and assuming that nothing else can do that. Ignorance is Braindeath.
As pooter said, shes probably pretty shaken, she'll come back to reality soon.
oh, and LOL at the use of the word "braindead".
Mass internal hysteria and confusion is probably more accurate.
Hope everything turns out well.

it probably wasnt true E. chemically speaking, it will not cause you to go to braindead. they probably ingested some cheap, altered E and didnt know what was in it.
gotta have legit and reliable sources when it comes to shady drugs like E that can be altered.

Um, test kit? And also, MDMA doesn't get altered to create some new drug. You are grossly misinformed. The worry is about fake pills, or cuts, or what have you, NOT someone getting the pills and "altering" them.
That's just fucking silly.

To madstyles
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_addictions
that has some info on how stress effects nuerogenesis, and how stress leads you back to addictions.
and to SN, i think he meant altering them by cutting them, not altering the MDMA lol. I dont think anyone could be that dumb. I cant speak for hiim tho.

Ah yes, I meant to agree with your stress statment in my last post, but spaced it. Stress can really fuck you up. It lowers your immune system which can lead to all kinds of unpleasant shit.

Re: a good friend of mine braindead from E?
The simple answer is that he's off in Utah somewhere in a rehab or boarding school. His parents are embarassed that they couldn't handle him themselves or guilty that they did this to their son so they probably made that shit up. One day he's gonna show back up and it'll be a family secret, the story will say he just woke up from his coma one day.

My theory would be either anti-psychotics or a stroke.

I think if her parents are really nuts, then they are most likley tring to cover something up. Pills are meant for human ingestion, one use wouldn't cause noticable damage.
