Default your ideal trip setting

honestly, i much prefer to be alone when tripping. a trip sitter is nice, but at this moment i cannot trust any of my friends to take adequate care of me. i really don't like tripping with others because i always end up being a nanny.

ideally i like to be home alone with a radio, a computer, a notepad, and a well stocked fridge. i always enjoy being in the woods.

what is your ideal setting for mental expansion? do you like a crazy party scene, a chill session with some close friends, or are you antisocial like me?

I've never needed a sitter, and think that most of the time they are more of a detriment. I trip alone.

I trip alone.

^^ this. I have enough trauma failing to understand my own head at times like this, I do not need to deal with the additional neuroses of even MOAR of these strange little monkeys.

...but a little yoga is nice, after the near-comatose peak.

A sunny summer day with a few picturesque cumulis clouds floating around in the sky. My comfy skull candy headphones and oakley shades ( I sound endorsed lol). A few tight friends, ride some bikes, smoke a bowl, smoke some kamel reds, play some frisbee, lay in the grass, start coming down, watch a movie in my friend's home theater, come down, have some beers, get some pussy, go home, smoke a bowl, go to bed. Damn.

with acid and rcs it could go either way, depending on who id be tripping with. Sometimes i like to trip alone and ponder everything and nothing. Sometimes i like stealing a bunch of peoples faces and go crazy. But its always nice to have a way out and go back to be alone in case people are freaking you out. plenty of cigs and bud, and maybe benzos just to b safe if im trying something new and dont know how the trip will be.

with mushrooms and natural hallucigens (mescaline too) i love nature.

I think its best to be with at least 1 good friend thats as fearless as you are. When you wanna go out and do shit while your tripping its much safer and more fun to have someone with you. The best sitting though is being with a load of good friends who are also on high doses of psychedelics. Never have sober people around. They bring down the trip.

This. Most people are mentally weak and can't hold it so they end up being a fucking baby and I have to take care of the little bitches. Pisses me the fuck off and ruins my trip.

Most people?? Then I must be one of the few. I've only asked for help once in my life while tripping heavily. I was stuck in a tent needing to take a piss. I couldn't even see the tent let alone the zipper. It was a fucked up experience. My friend who was in the next tent was too stoned to come to help though. Took me at least an hour to get out of that fuckin tent but when I finally did that was one of the best pisses I've taken in my whole life.

A few other people on the same substance, with perhaps someone who isn't tripping, but I'm fine without a sober person being around. I need to be away from loud drunk people, and loud parties most of the time, at least for the first part of the trip. I prefer to be in a friend's house for part of it and then walk around and go places when I'm comfortable. I need a stereo, tv, computer just in case my mind wanders too much so I have something to focus on, and for plain entertainment purposes.

The worst people to have around are people who tell you not to do things or wait to do them. People who say things like "wait until later to smoke that joint", "dont go swimming its too cold", "dont go up on the roof", "dont go out just stay inside" and the worst of all is "stop moving around just sit down and relax". I fuckin hate hearing that kinda shit when Im tripping heavily. Sometimes the only thing that does calm me down is moving around. Its as if they direct their insecurities at other people. They can't just let people be and do what they want they feel the need to try and control them.

People like these are the cause of 80% of my bad trips and I've learned to keep them away when I'm on psychedelics. Unfortunately my brothers so I stay well away from him. Every single time I take psychedelics with him it ends in a really bad stressful trip and I keep getting visions of evil eyes everywhere around him. Its weird shit.

The funny thing is I've seen my brother have way more accidents while on psychedelics than anyone else. Hes always telling people to be cautious but I've seen him end up in all sorts of shit situations. He managed to set himself on fire one night and if we weren't around to put out the flames he woulda been fucked. We had a big fire going and the mad bastard starting emptying a can camping fuel on it to spread it and he spilled a bit on his arm and his arm went up in flames. He also fell off the roof and broke his shoulder blade after telling me and a few other people that we were too stoned to go up on the roof. It was funny shit.

Music playing throughout the whole house, so where ever you go you will always be on that journey. Also the right mindset and a nice comfortable seat on the floor does the trick.

Always remember to close your eyes, focus on your breathing and stare up at the point in between you're eyes....

I prefer to be alone, in nature or at home alone. I hate having people around to fuck with my trips especially crowds or noisy places... Its fun for a while but I just get irritated with people fucking with things.

So yeah my ideal trip setting is a new place alone, preferably a city or some really beautiful countryside with a river.

My room by myself with Winamp playing some Shpongle, and the visualizer on fullscreen. Makes life so much cooler. I also like to lay on the floor with my legs resting on the wall. Makes the wall seem like the floor.

Other people are ok, but I like playing trip sitter, not sit-ee.
