so me and a buddy are doing lsa this weekend with some morning glory seeds(heavenly blues) about 8.4 g's each. we dont have access to a coffee grinder so im thinking a mortar & pestle will do, any reasons why it shouldn't? we are gonna get some dechlorinated water. is the lemonade absolutely necessary? i assume its the acidity that helps the process along. i remember joepedo saying he set his for a week and one person saying he let it sit for like 90 minutes while shaking it. then strain and drink right?

If you're making tea you can let it sit for a week. LSA is water solluble, but you can't heat it for faster extraction. However, you can just drink the sludge with the seeds in it. It will make you sick. A mortar & pestle will not grind the seeds finely enough to do a simple extraction which is putting the seed in a liquid, then letting the black particles fall to the bottom first and drink the ones on top. If you do get access to a coffee grinder, grind them finely (5 to 10 minutes), then pour it into water or juice, then let the black particles sink to the bottom first and pour the juice with the white particles into another glass and consume. This will minimize nausea. Unless you have a laboratory or something and can seperate the LSA 100% pure, you will get nausea and likely puke. I did my first trip. However, after puking all nausea dissappeared and I had a rather pleasent trip.

alright thanks a change of plans allowed me to go to my friends house and he has a hand grinder, a little more work but oh well better then nothing.
