I got pulled over the other day. I consented to search, because I didn't want to get a speeding ticket. I had ecstasy in the car. Usually the cops just mull over things and skim over the usual places, so I wasn't worried. The ecstasy was in a cigarette pack in this back compartment of my passenger seat. Damn, though, this cop was thorough. He searched everything, went through all my shit, sifted through the trash on the ground, opened the trunk... he even sniffed my coffee, and broke the styrofoam, so the lid wouldn't fit, and it became a bitch to drink. Anyway he finally finishes, walks back over to me, and says to go have a seat back in the car. It's in my head I'm busted so I start walking toward the cop car, then I'm like wait a minute, I'd be in cuffs, so I go back to my car. He comes back up to me and gives me my license and just says "watch your speed." So I drive off for a mile or two, pull into a gas station, and look in the spot, and the cigarette pack with the ecstasy is gone. So... I'd normally say its inconceivable that he'd take the ecstasy, cut me a break and not arrest me. But I don't have any priors, and there was all these college books and maybe he didn't want to fuck my life, so maybe??? Maybe? No way. Maybe one of my friends in the back seat took it, when I dropped him off,but I don't know. I'm going to clean my car and look for that shit.... If it's not there that's crazy.

Why the fuck wouldnt you just swallow the damn thing? Your fucking lucky. Its never going down like that again.

ive gotten a break for weed three times, but i do live in sf and i dont think they care to much about weed. and i know someone who got a break from a pill before too, it happens.

I've gotten plenty of breaks from weed, especially from new cops.

One time in the summer the most fucked thing happened. It was the middle of the night, some ungodly hour of the morning and there was 4 or 5 of us packed into my friends car. We were parked in this empty parking lot, three of us were tripping on shrooms and we were smoking a lot of weed. Basically this cop pulls up and when we unroll the window he had to have been hit by a a wave of smoke. It was really obvious we were smoking weed.

But he asked us what we were doing and my one friend was just like "Uh, stopping for a cigarette". We were expecting a "Step out of the car" but he just said have a good night and walked away. Weird as hell

My friend wasn't in the car when I got pulled over, I just dropped him off, he didn't know about it being in there... I don't know, I'm gonna take a look this weekend for it. My cars a mess, they're like 20 cigarette packs strewn around, I'm gonna see if If I can't find it. I can't see it falling out of the compartment, though. There was only two pills... Holy shit, If I really got a break, I beleive in god now.

I know someone who was tokin up in his car when a cop pulled up. It turned out someone had called the cops earlier because they heard someone throw a glass bottle at some other guys car as he drove away cause they got into a fight or something like that.

Anyways, they pulled up while he was hitting his pipe...he consented to a search and they found weed and his pipe(obviously). He was completely honest with them throughout a long conversation, he told them he worked for the navy which was what he seemed to think got him off...he also had to explain what formula 420 was to them, I thought that was kinda funny. They ended up letting him off without even taking his bud which I thought was kinda weird.

Fuck you you lucky bitches thats never happened to me. I fucking hate police in this area they don't have shit to do except bust kids for pot, alcohol and parties. I heard the juvenile system in my state (Nebraska) is way overcrowded and they had to start using a 2nd detention center because cops have nothing better to do then bust minors. Fucking gay ass pigs.

Hey man, cops are people, and just like how some people are absolute assholes and dwell on small shit, some of them have feelings and generally great people.

I hate cops, not the humans under the badge, but the person as a cop, for they USUALLY turn into a different person. Hell... watch a part time worker at your work get a manager position... they will change because of even that small amount of power. Imagine what happens to most police when they get the gun on their waist band and the badge on their chest, they go power crazy, and most of them will use that to fuck anyone for anything.

Maybe the guy has a kid your age who got booted from school for something that small and he lost 1000's of dollars. Then I could see him being lenient. Or maybe he was just a nice guy, knew you weren't fucked up while driving and obviously had the pills for your own use. Then he just took them away to scare you off from driving around with drugs (which it most likely has)

I was coming from a party one time with 3 other friends, one of which who had parked a car several blocks from the party to be sneaky!

So we parted, I ate a hadful of oxazepam and lorazepam... ran into a room of the party and screamed "FIIIIGHT" everyone runs outside to look for a fight that isn't there while I chug whiskey (whiskey=BAD for me!)

So later we are walking back to the car. The whole time I am being told to shut up and walk like a human... but it didn't happen.

We get back to the car to find that some cop is there, we try to just get in the car and he gives us hassle and asks us where we had been and if he could look in the car. My friend says yes since all the booze was drank (none by him) and all the weed was on me and another passenger. The cop starts poking his head in the door and I decide it is proper to say "what the fuuuuuuuhhhckkk does this guy think he's doin'" or something to that effect. Which made the cop speak directly to me, which didn't go over well, but he didn't seem to care...

The guy was pissed, but he found nothing and SOMEHOW let us go.

One time me and my friends were parked in a parking lot, smoking weed and drinking beer. We werent at the lot for long, maybe a few minutes just to drop my friend off. I was in the driver's seat. Anyway this cop pulls up next to us, finds about a gram of weed, my bowl, my friend's bowl, and an 18 pack of beer with only 10 left. The car obviously smells like weed, and so he tells us to step out of the car. The worse thing was that he asked for my i.d., which was chalked. I'd also had about 4 beers, so i most likely was above .08 and the key was still in the ignition.

he took down all our info, made me throw out the bowls and empty the beers, and that was it. i thank god everyday for that cop. i coulda been in fuckin jail and my life would be over.

I was caught w/ weed at school and the cop just took it away, no charges or anything.

My friends have told me this same cop just takes the weed/prescription pills, but will arrest you for anything else.

Whenever I hypothetically drive with drugs I put them in the trunk or glovebox (and lock it) then set my cruise control so I don't get pulled over for speeding. I also drive as little as possible, just the quickest way to my destination. I suggest ya'll do the same.

One time I was smoking a bowl on the street and this cop rolled up and got out of his car and walked over to me. I had put the piece down on the ground and was trying to hide it behind my shoe but he saw it and sat down. Then this guy goes, "Hey bro, can I hit that?" I go, "For sure" and load up some fresh greens. We toke down and talk for a while, mostly about cops and shit and how he was like the only chill one. Then he just got up and peaced, it was soo chill...

Don't keep ecstasy in cigarette packs! I did this once, and ended up throwing away the pack maybe a few days later while stoned and on the highway. FUCK! You always lose your best shit.... never the stuff you got skimped on and barely gives you a head change.


And eh, it happens. I've had a cop give me a break before. Gave me a choice in that I could smash my pipe and be on my way, or be charged for possession (just the bowl was packed, i had no weed on me). Pretty easy decision...

I've been given breaks many times by cops. A lot really is in the attitude you take with them - though that only goes so far, I admit. I dunno, I must have an honest face or something because I once got away with driving drunk. And I mean drunk! I gave the cop my fishing license, not my drivers license. I had one eye close - I didn't even know where the hell I was .

I got pulled over for doing 60 in a 35 zone and for running 3 consecutive red lights [I didn't know I had got off the freeway].

The cop asked if I had been drinking and I told him I had had a few 7-7's a few hours ago. He asked why I was so far from home and I made up some sob story about breaking up with a GF [I had a friend who [I]was going through a bad break up, so I substituted myself for him, so it was easy to not get tripped up in lies].

And do you know that fucker not only didn't arrest me, but he told me to go to the closest donut shop and sit there for at least an hour drinking coffee - and if he saw me on the road before that he would arrest me.

As soon as he was out of sight I made an illegal u-turn and made my way home [amazingly I made it back without major incident].

be glad you guys don't live in austin, i got arrested and taken to jail for smoking in a secluded street in a car where i usually park it anyways, cop shows up smoke rolls out the window and blasts his face for a constant minute finds twenty sack and boom i go to jail

A guy who used to be on here all the time had a vial of acid sitting in his ashtray when he got pulled over and the heat just took it and was like 'thanks retard'.

Had an eigth confiscated once and 2 grams the other time. Both times I got warnings, and they phoned my dad (who didn't care that much).

When I was 17 I got pulled over and for speeding at 1am and blew a .08. I didn't have an after 9pm license, and in NY if a minor has any alcohol in their system while driving you automatically lose your license for 6 months. I passed all the sobriety tests (except the breathylizer) and he told me to go sit in my car. The came up to my window a few minutes later, gave me tickets for speeding, driving after nine, failure to yield, and failure to keep right, but didn't arrest me for dwi. He obviously wouldn't let me drive off so I had a friend pick me up. I knew the traffic court judge (friends father) and got all the tickets dropped. O and we where drinking beers while driving and had to throw them in the back of my SUV when i saw the lights. He never searched the car.

Two months later I was leaving a party drunk and the cops rolled up to bust the party. I was pulled over by THE SAME COP and thought I was fucked. Everyone in the car was drunk, we had over an ounce of headies. Asked if i had anything to drink and I told him no and that I had learned my lesson the last time. He took my licenses and proceeded to go bust the party. 6 more cop cars roll up and im sitting in my car thinking im fucked. A fucking hour and a half goes by and he finally rolls next to my car in his cruiser, I see two of my friends sitting the the back of his car, comes up to my window, hands me my licenses, and tells me to get home safely. He didn't even give me another ticket for driving after nine (again).

Why the hell is there a law in NY that minors can't drive after 9? That is some stupid ass shit.

A lot of states are starting to pass that shit. When I was a minor the only rule they had in place was something about not having to many people in the car until 6 months after getting your license, but it was never really enforced...

In North Dakota you either have a license or you don't. That's weird.

9 PM? THAT SUCKS!! 9 PM is when shit gets started, damn that is gay as fuck. Although I guess it's not much better here with the 11 PM curfew, I've been pulled over late at night though with no incident (well I got a speeding ticket but he didn't say shit about the time)

i was given a break on about .01 grams of shake in an altoids can after i totaled my car, i didn't even think there was anything in the can but lo and behold they found it and assumed those little bits of shit in there was weed... and in actuality it was probably mostly weed but there had also been shrooms and pills crushed up in that can so i didn't question him when he assumed weed... i thought i was fucked and they had it so why not be truthful to him...

cop: be honest with me, when was the last time you smoked weed?
me: 3 days ago
cop: you are aware that if i drug tested you that you would fail and you would go to jail?
me: yes officer.
cop: im going to do some sobriety test just do everything as i say.

i did the sobriety test even though i was shaky, i had just stepped out of a wreck that very well should have killed me, there was evidence of drug use against me, and the adrenalin was going... but i managed to get through 3 or 4 sobriety test.

cop: because the guy you hit is ok and no one has to go to the hospital im going to let you off this time.
other cop: im going to remember your face boy, and if i see you im going to pull you over...

i was just happy to get out of it, not going to consent to any more searches because cops love to profile me... tell them to get a fucking warrant to search the car or call a k9 unit...

My dad had to do that. Was walking home from a bar at like 2AM totally smashed with his cool piece in his pocket. Cop rolls up and drives him home, but sees the piece in my dad's pocket. He just says "break it" so my dad stomps on it and the cop drives off. That was actually a really cool cop compared to the one we have now which if you aren't doing anything wrong, pulls you over just to fucking say "watch it."

Don't hide drugs in your cigarette pack. Atleast here in Norway its the first place the cops check. They probably know to search it in the US aswell.

I have like 20 empty cigarettes packs strewn through my car amidst a bunch of other trash. I shoulda just thrown it on the ground, but I didn't expect to get searched. I wouldn't of been worried had I gotten a chance to throw the pack on the floor.

Usually the cops just jack your drugs if it is pills, weed, or coke. I always here stories of people going to court the the evidence being a littlle lighter than they thought.
