Default Opioid Tolerance

Does anyone know how long it takes to go away? I can't find any information online on this.

Found a lot of interesting stuff on how tolerance develops. And how to reduce it, and this and that etc etc etc, but nothing on how long it lasts. I'm sure it varies depending on how much you've taken, but anything would help.

In my experience it never completely goes away. Most ive ever been able to quit was about 6 months tho. Just using random numbers lets say I started off at 0 tolerance, and went to 5 after quitting 6 months it only went back to 2.5 or 3. I couldnt really think of any better way to describe it, but i dont think you ever go back to 0 tolerance.

it never does go away, infact it fades slowly...

you'll forever be somewhat tolerant of opiates, for life. you'll never get high off 10mgs of oxycodone again for example. normal doseages are your hey i'm doing opiates again doses...

you know how tolerance steadys a bit, and begins to risely jump after sometime. well a similar effect happens when you quit [besides withdrawls, bit longer too]. after a while it tapers off but slowly fades.

good luck on reducing it, but remember your tolerance doesn't mean go to using your hey-day doses at free will. sure you'll live but you'd be pretty fucked up [and if your using potent dope probally dead]. it would be ill willed to jump back into an 80 a day after being clean even 2-3 months.

the thing is, if you were to binge again, you'll quit all over again. if you catch it early enough not as bad as before, but you can easily let the second monkey out grow the first more quickly.

FYI taking dxm shortly before your opiate/oid is said to reduce tolerance. (tolerance buildup?)

From all of the opiate potentiation formula contents ime dxm is the most effective.

I was wondering the same thing as me and my friend each had a 20 to ourselves the other day.....

i snorted all 20 and it only got me "high", but no nod was achieved. Now the last time i used Oxy was about 8 months ago and my tolerance then was at about 20mg to nod....a side note...the two days before i got this OC i had drank over a case of beer so i was still not 100% from the hang over.

btw i have gained 20 lbs since august.
