Now whenever any conversation turns to weed, low class neighborhoods, or drugs in general all I get from my mom are drug-platitudes like "druggies are failures", and she keeps on telling me it's unhealthy to hide parts of my life (not referring to 'what' parts as since they found it they never talked about it again) and in doing so it only means I'm ashamed or hiding something and in turn I'll always have low self-esteem. I mean I could refresh their memories that I still smoke weed, except I expect to be met with more platitudes and guilt-trips ("MY child would DO THAT!"), rather than hearing me out for the reasons I do it that have no releation to escapism.

Who ever wants to smoke in my family does. They all have before. Some like it some don't.

My mom, stepdad and one of my brothers and one of my sisters smoke. The others don't like it.

My mom let me start smoking at 13, seeing as how I was doing it at 10 anyways and she was letting my older siblings smoke she gave up and let me. She had some good weed back then. :)

This is the continuation of the thread I started in February about telling my mother I smoked.

And the conversation went like this:
I started out with the FAQ of MJ I printed out that is on the totse pages, brought up with her the fact that there are countries and even states in the U.S. that have decriminalized it. She then started asking me where I got it, how long I had been doing it, all that stuff.

I told her I have been smoking for a year, off and on, that I only got it from people I could trust, that it obviously doesn't make me stupid since I could hold a 3.7 in school and get accepted to the University of Houston.

She told me "What would happen if you got caught?" Which was at that time the best argument she could make after all my claims. And I simply said that I wouldn't get caught, only idiots and dumb asses get caught. I don't smoke while driving, I don't take it to school, I don't transport it, so there was no reason to have the police break in at the middle of the night.

I then tried to convince her that it could help her with all those fibromyalgia symptoms she had,
She didn't want to take any, just said that she won't stop me, but If I get caught, its my ass.

I take it as a success.
