Diphenhydramine withdrawls? =/
I picked up about 40 50mg tabs from the pharmacy, about 2 weeks ago and have been using them as a sleep aid (I take 100mg a night- trust me, 50 mg won't do shit for me.) Only once I tried to "trip" on it, fuck, I chose my mall on a Friday night 300mg, so it wasn't that bad- only one thing worth mentioning (since this topic isn't about my trip...)
I was sitting in starbucks practically unable to move, and there were these two people sitting in front of me- and I swear to god- ever single sentence they switched between german and english!!! I couldn't for the life of me figure out why they didn't just talk in fucking english. Very trippy. ANYWAY:
I stopped taking it after my friday night trip for about 4 days, then I started getting dizzy at random times. Not enough to fuck me over, but just enough to decrease my concentration on things. (i.e I had to come home from school one time, but I haven't puked from it.) I'm back on the DPH now (bottle almost done- I don't plan on buying another one. Maybe for a trip in my basement- I kind of enjoyed it.) and I am not getting dizzy anymore. Was the dizziness because I stopped taking it? =/ it seems odd that it would start occuring about 4 days after and not right after. I've never had withdrawals from anything before, except a minor withdrawal from speed but that was over a year ago.
Something to take into account: I've been sick lately, could the dizziness just of been from being sick? (Cough, cold, slight fever. Normal cold shit.)
EDIT: When I got dizzy I took an anti-nausea (Dimenhydrinate) and I would stop getting dizzy. I don't know if that's significant or not.

Dimenhydrinate is the same thing as Diphenhydramine.
2 Dimenhydrinate = 1 Diphenhydramine

Re: Diphenhydramine withdrawls? =/
You just got used to the DPH. It should subside in a few days. That's why you only use it on and off as a sleep aid.

Re: Diphenhydramine withdrawls? =/
I am skeptical that you would be having withdrawals from an antihistamine. Especially when you were only taking them to go to sleep at night. However, this could definitely affect your ability to sleep if you suddenly stopped taking them. I've never heard of antihistamine withdrawals from any reputable source.

Why do you think I mentioned it.
Thank you for the reassurance though, I am sure it was just a symptom of my cold.
