A plan to reduce CO2, reduce dependance on terrorist oil, and help the economy
Have the government borrow more money to replace all oil & gas power plants with nuclear. This would create jobs immediately and pay off in the long run as the US wouldn't have to worry about getting so much oil from the Middle East.

And what about the time it takes - 10-15 years - to get a nuclear programme of the ground.
Plus hardly any power plants are run on oil so it wouldn't help the US' oil consumption

Nuclear power plants only take a long time because idiot environmentalists get in the way. I say, shoot them and burn their corpses to generate electricity.
