Not unless I got the same thing several different times from different people. I don't necessarily think acid is a "bad" drug. I've tripped a decent amount of times. It's relatively healthy, non addictive, and cheap. I just think tripping in general is lame. You feel a weird type of euphoria for a few hours and see shit move and pulsate. Cool? People tend to look all fucked up when they drop cid too, which makes me like it even less. Also, the majority of the people who do acid are passive pushover douche bags. Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone.

You get more effects than just that if you do more. I can understand why you wouldn't like that type of trip, but after eating a large amount, or at least some potent hits, it goes much further than just what you described.


Tasting colors man. Seeing sound. My last acid trip I wasn't even aware of what was going on in the real world, as I was stuck in my own head tasting every color ever, and at the same time HEARING those colors, and smelling them.


It was like every single sensory thing that entered my mind was MORE than just that sense.

My mind was flooded with a million colors at once, a million tastes and sounds and images all at once, each matched up.

Too many people judge acid by a low dose acid trip, which, in my opinion is moreso a high than a trip. After truly breaking through on acid, you'll get MUCH more than swirling, light trails, and general distortion. You WILL experience things you will not understand.

I battled with heroin and opiate addiction for 2 and a half years, and have since overcome it (6 months clean.)

Heroin did nothing but fuck up my life. It ruined some friendships, made me piss fucking poor, gave me shitty morals, and a bunch of other bad shit.

My relationship with LSD has been entirely beneficial. I have learned things about myself, my friends (who are true, and who are not), and have gained a better understanding of the world around me. I have been shown things I cannot put into words, and even if I could, it wouldn't do them justice.

Dare I go as far as saying it has enlightened me? It even did it's part in helping me kick my opiate addiction.

So, I guess that's why I would choose the LSD.
