 Trip triggered from cigarettes?
I tried shrooms 2 weeks ago, and I smoked a cig the following day and starting experiencing similar effects to tripping. I was paranoid and nauseous, which never happens when I smoke. I thought it had something to do with the come-down of shrooms.
I smoked a cig today (the first time since 2 weeks ago) and I started losing focus, felt stoned, nauseous and when people talked it really aggravated me. When I got back to the house I felt sick and needed to eat.
Anyone have an idea of what I'm going through?

Well i highly doubt it was the shrooms that did the feeling stoned, nauseous part.
Yea it was probs the afterglow, it happens a lot when i take shrooms.

The afterglow?
Differs from person to person, the day after i do shrooms is always a chill one watching movies, smoking weed, finishing off any papers i haven't done yet.
It only lasts for about the day after i do them, but then again iv tripped on shrooms 10+ times.

If you don't smoke cigs often you may get that nauseous feeling when you smoke.
I wouldn't worry about it to much.

It never happened before shrooms though. I've smoked on and off for a few years now, never had any effect like this.
My friend who did them for his first time with me(shrooms) says when he smoked pot this weekend he experienced similar effects to the one I described from smoking cigs. |

Were they Canadian cigarettes? I found that consuming an export A green within a minute and a half, having little/no previous tolerance to nicotine will make you nauseas, irritated, and just generally shit feeling. It goes away after 10 to 20 minutes though.

It could be the cigarettes. Cigarettes contain MAOIs. The shrooms could still be in your tract in small amounts, made active by the MAOis.

It's just the cig bro. And maybe your minds fuckin' with you a bit. But no, you weren't flashing back.
I've smoked a pack-pack/half a day for 5 years now and I when I take a couple days break the first cig after stopping for awhile makes me kinda uneasey and slightly irritable. It's gone after the next.
