Default mystery drug + prozac

so ive been taking 40mg of prozac for a while, but lately it hasnt been working well. my mood has gone down and im always tired. my doctor is about to put me on 50 and if that doesnt work hes going to 60. he said that if 60 doesnt work he was going to add another drug to it, but wont tell me what it is now. anybody know what this might be/if it has any recreational value? im just curious. thanks for any help

Shit prozac that sucks bro. and theres no way for us to know all doctors have very different procedures. If you dont want to keep going htrough the prozac bullshit just go to another doc and tell him yove tried prozac. I got off easy and just told my doctor I have tried all the SSRI's and they didnt do anything for me. So he put on me on some medication, which didnt work so then i went to xanax. But i was going for anxiety though not depression.

is it for depression? if so, its probably buspirone (buspar).

see indications for buspar in webmd. its used to augment the effect of ssris in the treatment of depression.

not recreational, its a seratonin receptor agonist

Buspar is for anxiety. maybe its for both but its primary use is anti anxiety. pretty sure its just an anxiolytic. Your right about the none recreational, and seratonin receptor agonist tho.

if its buspirone it wont be for anxiety, it is supposed to augment the effect fluoxetine has on your body.
