Horse medicine
I recently started working at a large horse breeding facility. The vet Im working with told me that all the equine medine is formulated to make any human ingestion a VERY BAD idea, is this true. Are there any horse meds that would be good for recreational use.

Re: Horse medicine
It's not medicine per say... well I guess it is.
But ketamine is readily used on horses because the things snap the fuck out and go crazy... and everyone knows that when you are stressing, one of the best things for that is a IM K-hole in the middle of a field or on a race track.
I am kidding, they mostly use it for surgeries and I believe it is often used on scaredy cat horses who freak out when having horse shoes put on... I am sure it isn't a nice ordeal.
On a side note... this youngin who used to bring me and my friend handfuls of various pills, sometimes valium, sometimes percs... but one day he brought a small white pill and said "It's horse medicine... it's for my grandpa's horse."
My friend wanted to eat the whole thing but I advised him not to... instead, he unwrapped the pill, which pretty much fell apart when picked up (I assume it is supposed to dissolve in a horses mouth fast.)
So he put a small amount of powder on his tongue instead of eating the pill... I wouldn't let him.
That afternoon at school I walked by the washroom and heard some familiar sounds... which turned out to be my buddy yacking his brains out. And he was wonked out too, though he couldn't put his finger on the effects.
I am glad he didn't eat the whole thing, that could have been real bad.

Re: Horse medicine
When I was younger and teaching karate one of the instructors wanted steroids to get ready for a tournament. I let the word out to my friends, and they got horse steroids for racing horses.
It said the dose for horses on the bottle, and he did some basic math and figured out his dose based on weight, and it worked.
He is still alive and fine about 7 years later....so that is the only thing I know of in a stable that has any value to humans, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Re: Horse medicine
There's no denaturants harmless to horses that would hurt humans. He's BSing you, even if they there was they still wouldn't put the shit in there. It should be USP, just be careful with doses. I doubt he has anything good, ketamine and the like would be kept locked up.
