When I was at the x-ray machine in the airport a few days ago I put all my shit through the x-ray machine including my laptop then when the laptop was on its way out this guy asked me if I minded if he tested my laptop. I thought he was scanning it for bombs or some shit then I noticed it was just a cotton swab on a stick so I asked them what the point of this test was and one of them made a shit joke saying "it'll tell us if you've been eating chocolate in the last few days".

Is this some sort of test for drugs or other illegal chemicals. They were swabbing ladies handbag handles so Im guessing they go for areas where the hands are most likely to touch. I shoulda said "yea I do mind". I know they can't do shit about it but if they were testing for drugs they woulda definitely found some on that laptop. I was rolling joints, crushing pills and spreading lines of coke and heroin all on the finger pad where he swabbed.

I think someoone posted on here about people getting arrested in some countries for have like hundreths of a gram of drugs on them. maybe it wasn't on here.....i can't remember

Crushing pills on a lap top?

Someone give this guy a Nobel prize.

It's a machine that's supposed to detect explosive residue.

The machine tests for traces of chemicals, bombs, drugs, it tests for them all, they use them here in NZ.

I have seen on TV where they tested a swab & found Cannabis & LSD traces.

When the owners of the bag heard 'LSD' they both looked at each other suprised as fuk.
Someone else had used the bag & they both knew then that that other person had actually had some real LSD at that point.
It confirmed that fact to them, funny as.

Customs had found out in their interview that someone else had used the bag & so they couldn't pin it on the two guys.
How ever the customs were not worryed about the Cannabis, its too prevalent, its everywhere.

Their bags where searched real good for anything illegal.

A positive swab just means that the owner/s of the bags are 'a point of intrest.

The customs let the guys thru, no problems.

Does the device return results straight away?

It amazes me how they can pick up residue of something which may be weeks old.

Results came almost instantly it seemed.

To return a LSD positive trace is amazing, the actual amount of LSD must be tiny,
& whats on the baggage is what came off the hand that touched the paper... 3 months before the test....
