So this summer I'm going to visit Vancouver. Likely I'll be stopping in Amsterdam for 8 hours. I'm planning to visit a cafe or two. Will dogs be able to smell me, and if they do what will happen? I won't be smugling anything, but is it punishable to have it in my system? I'll be 18 at time of travel and have got loads of experience, so being stoned falling asleep and missing my flight will not happen. Anything else I should experience in Amsterdam in the 8 hours I've got?

Look up "the bottle" its a small bar in amseterdam try the cannibus laced absynth. Accross from the bar is a coffee shop that sells 3 euro joints. Close near by is a head shop that sells magic mushrooms, salvia extracts, kratom and other intrestings things. If your there at night a black guy will come up and offer you coke, xtc and other stuff. We averaged an offer about 20 times a night and only once was the guy white. We were warned not to buy drugs off the streets. You have to pay to use the toilets in amsterdamn. Most people speak english.

When your walking around stoned really watch out for the traffic. The streets are hard to tell apart from the pavement and cars and bikes are everywhere. There are thousands of bikes. You will understand the traffick when you get there.

So in theory one could effectively smuggle drugs by smashing down the appropriate metabolism/enzyme inhibitor, slamming a huge dose of that drug and extracting it from your urine once in the next country?

besides that, I've been to holland two times, and I got high as fuck before leaving, and they didn't have a single problem with it. I reeked of weed, they searched me like normal, and let me go.
