I used to take opiates before and during class when I was in highschool. It would actually make me enjoy my work. As long as your not taking a dose that is going to knock you out, you should be fine.

The few times I took opiates in school (they were offered to whoever would take them then, my friends wanted to see someone get fucked up on ~20-35mg of hydrocodone) I did fine. It's obviously harder to focus, but on low doses I could manage fine. It's not like I was missing anything in a public high school being high for a few classes.

I focus better when I'm on a light dose of opiates. I'm also chills enough to search around and learn shit for hours. Then to reflect on it all afterwards. I get unproductive at high doses, obviously.

Now that I think of it, on a very low recreational dose it is a lot easier to focus. As long as it is moderately interesting I don't get bored or distracted. I do spend a lot of time wishing I had more opiates though.

It's easy enough to read or watch and take it in but fuck any actual physical effort towards learning, even turning the pages of a book.
