I got it from totse quite a while back, from one of the knowlege threads I think. It's a pretty decent read.

Sure, sure...
but really, just ebay one. Anything useful enough to keep as a reference is useful enough to pay $5 for a physical copy.

That's a lot of filler. There's a lot of common knowledge in this thing. If I was in situation where I needed this information I'd rather have my organized pages of notes than the whole thing.

I don't know about you but when I'm in the outdoors I'm not worried about an enemy so hauling this full sized book around that isn't 100 percent relevant to my situation is unnecessary weight. I'm reading through it on here (for free mind you) and jotting down tid bits to keep in my bag.

But you never know, I may just run into some gooks sometime and when that happens I just might regret not buying the hard copy.

Alright, I'll get the number for it and download it, its a pdf so you can save it and print it out or what have you.

EDIT:: This is the FM 5-103 Survivability, its geared more towards combat survivability but it has alot of points in it that can be used in peace time situations, if there is any fm, tm, pub, ect that is out there that you can't seem to get ahold of I can get it easily.
