Getting back on ADD meds
I used to be perscribed to ritalin, cylert, adderal and dexidrine
when I was a kid. Went through all of them then my mom took me off for whatever reasons when I was about 11 or 12.
I'm 22 now, a couple years ago I went to my doctor (he was my pediatrician) and he gave me strattera to try (lame).
I never took it but filled my script a couple times haha it was free.
Anyways since then I switched over to an "adult" doctor and last time I saw him I was prescribed to strattera. I'm thinking about going in and saying that I stopped taking that a long time ago because it didn't help and I'm having add problems again.
If you were prescribed to Dexedrine as a kid does that mean you're like golden to get prescribed again if you ask or is real tough to get it as an adult after all that time??
Thanks
Either way I'm just gunna go in and ask haha

Re: Getting back on ADD meds
The only advice I can offer is be straight up. Medicines that worked in the past, generally still work.
