Default Desmanthus Leptolobus

I need pictures of the plants when they first start putting out new branches and leaves and stuff after the winter. I live 30 minutes from where they grow natively and I think I found some in my yard. The roots look the same. I also need pics of the roots though to be sure. And the buds of the flowers. If any of you have pics like that I'd appreciate it, or if you have an account on shroomery and wouldn't mind posting this in the ethnobotanical forum on shroomery.

Nevermind. It's definitely Leptolobus. :)

Leptolobus is everywhere. Kinda hard to spot though, unless you're short.

something tells me he is not smart enough to figure it out.

nevertheless, if i ever attempted an A/B extraction i would like to have the highest concentration/mass of the raw substance.

Also note that not only do some herbals also contain the overpowering 5-meo, but also chlorophyll....the absence of which makes MHRB a much better choice to work with. FUCK DEFATING

Yeah, it's a good thing they grow super fast and produce lots of seeds. Some of the roots on these are huge... And they're extremely hardy, I nearly chopped one in half and planted it somewhere else, it stopped wilting after about ten minutes. Makes me wonder how old some of these root stocks are.

http://forums.mycotopia.net/dmt-spice/5610-comments-growing-your-own-dmt-merged.html

According to that it'd take 1.4 kilo to get a gram of DMT out of the root bark. I wouldn't try to extract it though, too complicated for me. But it'd be pretty easy for someone to grow enough of this for shitloads of DMT if they didn't mind extracting it.

I'm not so sure anymore that they're leptolobus, they look exactly like it except I haven't seen the stamens yet. If there's more than 5 it can't be leptolobus. I'm in the right area for it and I don't think there would be too many lookalikes.. The seeds would probably be the key to identifying them. Or smoking some of the rootbark... Which I might do soon.

Don, seeds would be easy to send but they aren't going to seed till it's summer here. Hasn't been spring for long.

If it's not illegal to have them where you are I could. But I doubt buying them from a website would be expensive. Rootstocks were only 18$ if I remember correctly.Seeds would be a lot cheaper.

I don't know about sending live plants through the mail either, seems tricky. I don't know if the plant would survive it, even though they're super tough. Plus, it'd cost me money to send a live plant.

Damn. It's the sensitive plant, mimosa pudica. Fucker. At least I don't live far from leptolobus. I'm gonna have to find them this summer.

You sound oh so smart. But seriously you should STFU. Do you know where I live? No. I don't live in fucking Australia where I can just go to some park and grab all the acacia maidenii bark that I can. I live in a city where the nearest source is a species of phragmites (which really isn't worth the hassle) and that's two hours away.

Just for your info, I don't necessarily ship expensive ass rootbark into this god forsaken country just to fuck myself up with DMT. I collect seeds and I collect plants. Desmanthus lebtolobus is something I've been trying to trade for cheap. Unfortunately, most of the forums I've registered in have no interest in my rather small and common collection coupled with how I live so far away from N. America. Get it, Einstein?

I've been ripped a couple of times with old shitty seeds from all these vendors. I prefer small guys. It's easier to get fresh seeds that way. My T. Pachanoi should be flowering at about the same time, if I got its cycle correctly. If you're interested, mail me at jabronyo@yahoo.com I also have some T. Bridgesii but they're getting old, couple of months old now and I don't know if they're still good. In fact, I was never able to sprout a single one but then again, I live in a tropical country and there's really no appropriate cactus soil for sale here to speak of. And I just really suck with cacti. You know, the whole moisture plastic wrap ordeal? But yeah if you've got seeds, tell me!

I collect them too. Being ripped off by some shithead on the internet would disappoint me so much more than searching in the sun for 8 hours and going home empty handed.

Shouldn't take much more than 2 hours to find the leptolobus though. Much easier than other stuff I've found around here.

I'll search as much as I have to, to find it. I really want this plant. There's several counties where leptolobus populations grow natively, so if not in the first county, in one of the others.. I don't fucking know how it wouldn't be in the first one. The plant is very resistent to herbicide and other shit like that. I wonder if it's as hardy as pudica.

Probably more hardy than pudica since it's been here longer.

I was disappointed by the pudica. When I find leptolobus I'll be happy enough to send people live plants and seeds for free.

I've saved your email address.

Thanks dude. It should be a great plant. Apparently, it wouldn't take five years to get good harvests unlike the illinoensis. Hardiness of illinoensis minus the waiting time for tryptamines. Can't confirm it though.
