Methadone & Quinine
The policy rules I had to agree to abide by and sign for my Methadone Maintanence clinic has a one sentance rule stuck in the middle of the HIPAA mess that says 'All patient use of Quinine is prohibited by clinic policy. If any patient tests positive for Quinine, we will treat this as a dirty urine sample. It is the patients responsibility to know what they are taking so they do not take Quinine'------ or something very similar to that.
Why is that? I notice in another thread here in BLTC on Opioid potentiation that Quinine is listed as having a positive effect on Opioids.
I have 2 questions.
1) Does Quinine, when taken with maintanence doses of daily Methadone, add significantly to its euphoria and/or sedation?
2) If No is the answer to question 1, then why would my clinic have such a strict policy against taking Quinine for any reason?

Re: Methadone & Quinine
Number one is correct, you fucking retard. You knew the answer to this question, why did you bother asking it?
