Pf tek is easy as hell and if you are rich you can eliminate work and contamination by buying your spores, pre-sterilized jars, et al off the internet. If not, it's easy as hell to do with household materials and not a lot of money. Fairly low yield though, as I've discovered. You won't be able to get too much more than personal use for you and your friends.

Bulk teks (look it up on shroomery) are more work but much more fruitful. They require more space and more investment in terms of money, but you could easily get that money back when you have an assload of shrooms sitting around.

I'm still pretty new to all this, but from what I've read so far, you are pretty much gonna need to atleast start your project indoors.
Basically:
*Order some spores online from www.ralphstersspores.com <- one of the best in the business

*Use the spores to innoculate some sterilized jars of mushroom food

*Incubate the jars until all the mushroom food is white. throw out any with discolorations cause they are contaminated.

*While you wait for them to colonize, get ur ass on shroomery.org and use the search function in the forum for terms like outdoor cultivation, bulk growing, spawning substrate, etc. The place is a goldmine of info, and nobody here can tell you what guide you should follow because everyone has special circumstances to adapt to. You're growing outside, I'm growing in a slightly cluttered apartment bedroom.

I decided to invest in starting with liquid cultures, and if you want to grow outdoors, you should consider it. You still get ur syringes online, but you innoculate jars full of sterilized and nutritious liquid. When they are "grown", they will then be used to innoculate jars of solid substrate just like you would with the spore syringe.
This will save you time and $$ even semi-long term, because if you aren't shroomin for a while, you can just put a grown liquid culture in the fridge and it will sorta hybernate or w/e equivilant fungus does. Your mushroom patches will colonize a little faster than with spores, because you have more liquid that you can inject, and it's already growing when you put it in.
I put 15cc in each of 4 bags a few days ago. Spore syringes from Ralph are $10 a piece and have an average of 10-12cc of solution in them. I ordered 4 of them, and just doing those bags would have drained all of them if I didn't make LCs (liquid cultures) instead. I got the bags off ebay (filed a paypal claim and ended up getting em free) and they are sketchy as fuck, but if they don't grow or they're contaminated, it's no big deal. I still have like 700cc of good innoculant left, which required me using about 3cc of one of my spore syringes. very economical.

On Thursday or Friday I'm going to be innoculating a few grain jars... organic rye berries that have been hydrated cleaned and sterilized. They are one of the faster colonizing substrates, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that goes. Once I get the hang of it and they are working well, I'll probably make as many as I can reasonably fit in my alloted space (=

A guy I've been chatting with intermitently from shroomery is planning an outdoor grow. His plan is to dig a 12x12 foot section out in his yard, 8-12 inches deep. He composts horse shit, and he's going to put a few inches of that down, followed by colonized substrate, and then more compost on top. The colonized substrate quickly colonizes the compost, and then the whole thing grows shrooms like mad. He said he tripped out 20-30 people on the house no sweat there were so many. Granted this is just for an example, as you probably don't want a 12x12 plot. But you can find more similar info on the site without difficult.

Jesus Christ do some god damn research. No single person can tell you exactly what you need to do to cultivate Psilocybin Cubensis outdoors. A good start would be Google. You'll eventually find Shroomery. Then you'll stop being a lazy bitch and actually find the techniques that suit what you're trying to pull off.
