pharm parties
"For some, keg parties are being replaced by "pharm parties," where kids bring whatever pharmaceuticals they can find, mix the drugs up in a big bowl and eat them like candy, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration."

Re: pharm parties
I would love to go to one of those, if they even exist. Turn up with a huge bowl of paracetamol tabs and leave with all the opes, amps and benzos :)

Re: pharm parties
Didn't it originate from an episode of CSI? Or was the DEA bullshit around before the CSI episode came out?

Re: pharm parties
Never heard of 'em.
But, sounds fun. I'd love to go to one.
I wonder how much the "charge per cup" is at one of them. Probably a lot more than a keg party.
Of course, the person putting on the "party" would have to be the only one "handing candy out". That way he could educate everyone on what they were taking and what he recommend for how much experience, if any, they currently had... that way, if anyone died, we would know the person to blame and go to/press charges against.
Sounds like a ton 'o' fun! Sign me up!
ONE.

Re: pharm parties
Sounds kind of stupid. The best part about doing pharms is mixing and matching them to get the best buzz. Blindly popping them could give you some shitty ass results.
Not saying I wouldn't go though. Fuck, free drugs? Good enough for me.

Re: pharm parties
I've never heard of those in real life before, only in anti-drug media. Propaganda.
But I wouldn't go to one, I don't think. If I every take anything I'm a nut about preparation. I like to know how much I'm taking, what it's going to do to me, and how long it's going to last. Dropping dead isn't usually in the game plan.

No, CSI did have it in an episode - well one of the CSI shows - but they didn't originate it. I had heard of them long before that in the media. Though I can't recall if I ever heard of a real one or if it's just another UL that the media is propagating as fact [much like most of their drug info, in fact].
Don't get me wrong, I do hope that it is not actually going on. But if it is, I am all for it. I know that that seems contradictory, but it's not. I really hope it's not happening because - obviously - I don't want to have young people dying over stupid shit. On the other hand, if it is actually going on, I am all for it because it is a great way to strengthen the gene pool.

Re: pharm parties
lol if these do in fact occur somewhat regularly somewhere, and they are run like that site says, whoever brings the good stuff is a fuckin retard, or excessively generous. Maybe if they had an organized bar with someone who knows their shit running it and dispensing and charging per pill, and just a good variety of themed parts of the house to hangout in depending on your mood. I could go for that.

this article pops up every 6 months or so, it always makes me smile. It probably causes some articles in high school newsletters to parents too.

Re: pharm parties
Experts say that signs of opiate abuse in students are similar to those of other drugs: a sudden drop in grades, loss of interest in studies or favorite activities, change of friends, lying, stealing, unexplained mood swings and financial problems. "Attend to what the bank account looks like -- a first sign is if it goes very quickly," says David Deitch, chief clinical officer at Phoenix House, which runs drug-rehabilitation programs in nine states.

Re: pharm parties
I have never heard anyone in real life, or online confirm these actually exist. I have only read about them.
Which leads me to believe that if there ever are any real 'Pharm Parties', they would exist because some kids read about them in propaganda ... not because anyone thought it would be a good idea.

Last time this site was brought up I remember no one having seen / been to one. I would go for sure. Grab all the good ones while the clueless retards die.
It's really just a bad idea.
