I have been interested in books by John Lilly and his work with deprivation tanks, LSD, ketamine and the workings of metaprogramming (though I do not know how far this can go)

The deprivation tanks used to induce intense mental states are water filled, completely dark, completely quiet... and most important of all, The water and air around you are at the temperature of your skin (as to make it feel like you are floating in thin air)

This deprivation of senses after 20-30 minutes can cause some really intense hallucinations and strike both insight and fear into some people.

Apparently 1.5 hours in a tank is equivalent to 4-6 hours of sleep! and can help a lot with stress and general mood.

Well. My birthday just passed, and I found out today that there are deprivation tanks in Toronto that I can visit, and for a one time experience, my SISTER (HA!) pays $90.00 and I get 1.5 hours worth of something I have wanted to do for years. I knew it would be expensive... but too bad it isn't something more reasonable like $40.00 because I could do that monthly/bi-monthly.

So... this will probably happen within the next month soooo...

What can anyone suggest for me (just general things to do to prepare.)

Also, if (since it is my first time) I take any actual drugs for this... it will just be a fat joint for Joe Rogan has said good things ;)

I certainly will tell BLTC how it goes... and this IS happening for sure, though I don't have a date planned... a buddy wants to come and he gets in from LA on the 18th of april... so sometime just after 4:20 more than likely.

I wish there was someone on here that would put up the 90 bucks or whatever and take a plunge so I know if it is all it is chalked up to be... I really fucking hope so.

Also... my buddy wants to smoke a lot of weed before he gets in... so I probably will too lol
