nah, you gotta find the crooked vets. virtually nothing is otc down there anymore, but its still easy to bribe the vets/pharmacists.

bud? i was in southern mexico - where there are NO tourists. we just walked around and asked random guys who looked like stoners. took some work but eventualy we got around 15g for $10 american. but since you're probably a guero and you're in a tourist spot it'll cost a lot more. try making friends with rich mexicans - thats what we did.

Playa del Carmen is really nice. IMO it's better than Cancun. They have really good locally grown bud there, but you have to speak Spanish or they will rip you. When we went, all of us spoke decent Spanish, so everybody was really nice to us, and we found a really chill grower who hooked us up with an O of some nice stuff for $45. We ended up smoking him out on the beach that night. Most of the stuff is grown in the ruins(like Koba). If you can find someone to translate to Mayan, you are lucky.

All of us spoke semi-fluent spanish and we said we were from France. My roommates little brother(didn't speak Spanish) went a year ago and got held at gunpoint with a fucking assault rifle and robbed of everything he and his buddies had on them.

If you go one state down, you run into hash fields. This area is pretty fucking dangerous(guerrilla shit is happening over the stuff). You'll notice that they have a very heavily militarized border between Q. Roo and south mexico, if you see it, turn the fuck back. This is were my roommates brother got mugged.

when you consider that your breakfast, lunch, and dinner at nice restaurants combined will cost you about 80 pesos it seems pretty high by compariosn.

When i was in county jail there was a mexican alien with me. He learned a little english but managed to tell me that " in mexico the people from towns go INTO jail to buy weed,coke,pills,beer or hookers" other than that ask around for motta.

YOu can find it everywhere down there. Most of the time people will ask you. Why would you goto jail to get pills and beer? Mexico has liquor stores? Mexico has pharmacys with lots of pills?

Not really. He probably didn't know exactly ehat he was saying(language barriers). The jail I saw in Mexico had food stands and stuff laid out in front of it and there were like 50 people asking wtf happened to their (friend/loved one).
