trying to prove a point to a friend...Could someone please explain how to consume orally, and the amount needed for effect, and the time it takes to kick in?

actually, someone i used to hang out with would put a 1/4 gram in liquor, and do a shot, when their nose was too fucked for snorting...i thought i saw a thread awhile back about this, but came up empty handed.

according to wikipedia oral and intranasal bioavailabilities are about the same. so you would need to eat the same amount of coke that you would snort to get the same effects.

Probably, it's still getting into your bloodstream and it'll be quicker than oral ingestion.

I've wondered about this before too.. if the bioavailabilities are the same why the hell do people snort it in the first place? because it's more interesting than simply putting in your mouth? i find it's an annoyance when my sinuses get all clogged.

You can, but you might throw up, and its not as good as if you just snorted it.

Shit, snorting a mixture of broken glass and battery acid would be like a magic carpet ride compared to snorting any 2c-x. I put 20mg of 2c-i up my nose once and I'll never do it again. It went along the lines of: *sniff* - Hey this isn't bad at all, I don't know why everyone says it bur...AHHHHHHHHH.

lol no. Its absorbed in your nose. Mucus membranes I believe.

No it goes into your head and the mucus membranes absorb most of it.

Alot of the time though after I've done a lot Ill sniff and the shit that didnt get absorbed or is in random spots in my nose will shoot straight to the back of my throat and I have no choice but to swallow it. Mmmmmmmm. Makin me fiend.

Mix some coke into a drink of coke and drink that. No I have not tried this. It should be like an energy drink that actually works and gives you a buzz, like coke was originally intended to be.

Typically, with today's street coke, for oral consumption you'll need about 200mg. It will take about 20 minutes to kick in, and it'll be a very slow and gradual "rush," nothing compared to the rush of snorting or banging but it lasts quite a bit longer. 2 hours or so. It's worth trying if you have a lot of excess blow to experiment with.

Alcoholic drinks with cocaine added to them were quite popular back in the day.

You can also put cocaine under your tongue or beside your teeth in your cheeks for effects similar to snorting (some claim it's much more effective). Taste is awful, however, not to mention the damage done to your gums.

I've heard that its not a good idea to do cocaine orally. I don't recall why, but it was bad enough for me to remember it being worth knowing.

we did shots of crown with 1/4 gram, split into 2 shots...like others have posted, it lacked the initial "rush", but lasted quite a bit longer.
