My new phsychiatrist whos scribing me subutex, says i need to be on add medicine too, or i dont have much ofa chance of staying clean. I told him i took ritalin and it helped, and that i took adderall but didnt like. I told him that cuz im trying to paint the picture of not going in there just looking for pills. He said he was going to put me on this for add, its main ingrediant is methylphenidate. It seems to be in the same catergory as concerta. nut i told him ive been on concerta and it didnt help at all. So i assume there is some differences. Who has taken this script. Does it help add (most important), is it abusable (least important), can you snort it? I really want him to put me on focalin, it is great for studying and doesnt have alot of the typical side effects of most add meds. Like no appeitte and no sleep.

IMO, no form of methylphenidate is 'abuseable'.

I mean, I'm not trying to be a 'drug snob'. If someone can get a decent high off of methylphenidate, and they actually know what being high is, more power to 'em.

Every time I tried using methylphenidate to get high, it was in relatively low doses, (30mg up the nose, tops)
and it produced stimulation, a mood lift, and tons of anxiety\paranoia. This lasts for about an hour, and then the WORST, most disproportionately BAD comedown ever.

I mean, the high is barely a high, but the comedown is VERY low. Worse than coming down off of 3 GOOD e pills and coke at the same time. And that's pretty bad.

Don't have loaded weapons nearby.

Fuck. Weapons in general should be excavated from the general vicinity before coming down on this stuff.

I guess my question was does it give that stimulation to keep you up and alert, which is what i need to study. Im not trying to get high off of these, just enuf stimulation to keep me up so i can study. Im trying ot get my associates as a chem tech. So im trying to find out if its more like ritalin or more like concerta, ritalin helped me and concerta didnt. And teh ritalin "high" is what i need to study. If i take it as prescribed it doesnt help. And absolute caliber yu can iv ritalin, Never gunna try it, but damn i didnt knwo that. And im not too worried about the comedown, I got subutex which will help that, and lyrica whcih will help too. But basically i have to abuse it to get them to work they way i need them too.
