I am picking up a few fent patches in a week or so and I am gonna do some playing around like smoking and eating the gel but I was wondering a few things.

The patches are the 75 mcg/hr 14.5mg total patches. I was wondering how many hours this is good for? I want to wear the patches on my long work days so I can be pain free and not have w/ds when I dont have time to take any pills.

How long does it take for the effects to come on when wearing the patch? Should I put it on the night before my shift to give it time to kick in?

Can anybody give me some more details on the effects of fent when wearing the patches. I have only taken fent once and I had the 1600mcg pops.

I wouldn't wear it. It seems like it would take a while...


cut off a corner of the patch and chew on it. it'll hit you in 10 minutes and it lasts a while. smoking it is pretty cool too but doesn't last near as long.

Doesn't fent not last very long when you dont wear it? so he would have to redose. He going to have to work probably an 8-12 hour shift. I think it takes like 3 hours maxto start feeling effects. The patch is 72 hours so it will lst you a lot longer to just wear it but effects wont be as strong and it will probably just hold you over if you wear. if you take a more concentrated dose by taking out the contents of the patch(very carfully! fent i s a strong substance!) you will be able to get high from it. I imagine you have a tolerance since you need it to keep you from gettin dope sick but be careful with that shit. BE SAFE MAN! enjoy

Hoppin man, put maybe half a patches worth of gel aside to smoke then get the rest of your patches, dissolve the gel in alcohol, evaporate and mix with lactose. You know how much fent you started with, and you know how much cut you added, so dosage for intra-nasal use is easy to work out.

All my experience with fent has been shooting it basically so I can't really help you with questions about wearing the patch. The only thing that I know for sure is that you definitely don't have to put on a duragesic the night before, 45 minutes would be my guess as to come-up time.

i dont think wearing the patch can give you recreational effects, especially if you're dependant.

But, depending on your tolerance, it will probably keep you out of pain and hold off withdrawls. so it should be right for your intentions.

My cousins bf was very very depndant on opiates/oids and requiredatleast 10 80s of oxy perday to feed his habit and lots of percs and vics for break through. Well he was put on fent patches and he would wear like you are supposed to. He had cancer and went to the hospital for chemo and he was found i n the parking lot after his session dead with 2 patches on instead of 1. So ecreational effect definetly can be acheived even in very tolerant/dependant people.

someone who does 800mg of oxy a day wouldnt die from wearing two of the strongest fent patches on the market at once. if the death was caused by overdose, he was spiking while wearing the patches.

So that doesnt prove anything about the recreational abilities of fent patches.

no he wasnt shooting. he wasnt that kind of user. he died from the patches. I dont no if it was from his bp being so low form the chemo or what but the cause of death was fent od. Yea Im not looking to nod out Im just looking to not be sick and maybe feel a buzz. Like right now I just woke up and snorted a OC40. This took away sickness but didnt make me high at all. Would wearing the patch for 3 days make all 3 days like this?

maybe the coroner said "fentanyl OD" because he died of an opiate OD and was wearing 2 fentanyl patches.

but if someone needs 800mgs of oxy a day (which is an insane amount) they cannot possibly OD off of wearing 2 fent patches. maybe if he had a stomach full of percs and a nose full of oxy at the same time. but it was not just the fent.

so since he was taking a variety of other drugs at the same time and was undergoing radiation, which i assume made him weak and sickly, there are too many confounds in this example and we can gather no conclusion about fentanyl from it.
