Right, and viruses CAN be transferred though sharing straws/banknotes; blood particles can get onto them and if you rupture a blood vessel it could spread the virus. However, it's pretty unlikely. But you should still always use a brand new straw for each session, and not share straws.

this is not a common method of transmission, nor is it guaranteed that you will contract the virus if you are exposed to it in this way. it is however a possibility. and since its so easy to just use different straws then take the extra precaution.
