im wondering what is more common on the streets indica or sativa? i'd think sativa but i read on some canadian seed website that indica is.....the only time ive every 100% known i got indica is when i got some skunk. anyways is indica more like kind bud and sativa is more like regs and brick weed?

i never buy anything lower than good mids... but most of the time im smoking dank/headies... its all good but the best weed i ever had was some very well grown sativa headies... so many crystals it was more what than green.... most of the time my dank is indica dominant, but i get the occasional sativa.

99% of the time i get indica.

On one occasion i was with my friends, and one girl brought a dimebag. We made a joint with the receipt paper from walgreens (bought a benzedrex inhaler, and swallowed it earlier). So we smoked it and it was the best weed I have ever smoked, definately a sativa strain. I only had approx 2.5 grams and i was high as hell. I've never gotten this effect from indica, which sucks balls, just gets you stoned and sleepy.

For Dank its probably gonna be Indica, because that is easier to grow inside. I wish it was sativa though.

Yea, it worked. We only used it because we had nothing better.

most strains these days are a blend of at most 60/40 in either direction. finding any pure sativa strain or any pure indica strain is really rare. and unless your dealer is involved in growing the weed you buy from him hes probably lying about it just to get you to buy it anyway.

well it was a dimebag split between 4 people. I'm sure if i used a bong or a vaporizer i would only need .2 - .3, but we smoked a joint, and not even all of it. I only manage to get 4 or so hits and i was high as fuck (not stoned).

Indeed, Most of the outdoor stuff you buy here is sativa dominate, indoor stuff (hydro) is nearly always a strong indica breed because of the short flowering time. Pure sativas aren't popular to commercial growers because of the hella long flowering period IIRC it's 120+ days compared to 50-55 days for an strong indica cross.

Thermal paper as in reciept paper doesn't use ink its heated to produce words thats why it comes out so quick. Heat up reciept paper it turns black.

I usually am growing hybrids as growing a pure tropical sativa in my setup indoors is almost impossible, without HEAVY use of topping, tying down and FIM'ing.

Growers [indoor] growing solely for cash cropping tend to buy and grow more indica strains, as the flowering time is MUCH less than sativa's or even phenotypes that lean towards sativa. So this means that the drug dealer growing indicas can harvest more times per year than a sativa grower.

If the herbs were grown outside, it's most often a hybrid or sativa influenced. Also WHERE it was grown has a big impact on the type you are getting.

My advise is to grow your own. I've been growing my own herbs for a few years now and let me tell you it is the most rewarding thing, not having to deal with the drug dealer bullshit out there, not to mention the best cleanest pot in the world because you grew it yourself so then you know EXACTLY what type it is etc. Also if you grow organically, I assure you haven't tasted anything this good from street-purchased herbs.

Anyways some other things that may give you a sign on what type it is: Seed size

Sativa plants have MUCH smaller seeds than indica's. "Haze" seeds are TINY I thought none would germinate but they have been some of my best germinating seeds.

Indica seeds are much bigger than indica.

Now, if you don't buy pot with seeds in it (which is obviously better) you'll have a harder time determining if it is a sativa or indica. You'll have to judge more on the scent and high than anything else.
