I was offered some concerta or ritalin..so my question is, is it really worth it? if so, how much for a first time? thanks in advance guys.

Well i was thinking it would be kind of a speedy "high" but i've never really messed with speedy types of drugs, except caffeine at almost a gram..What i would like for this to be is a kind of clear headed feeling but still speedy and excited kind of edge to it. I plan on smoking some weed on the comedown too, if not maybe when i take it.

Well, I would ultimately suggest Coke for you in that area. I understand you may not be able to get it now. If you could work on getting ahold of some adderall, that may be ok, since you can get ritalin it may also be an option. I don't know much about concerta, but you might like ritalin. I'd suggest being patient and working on something better myself. Talk to this guy and find out what he may be able to get in the long run.

Well i don't know if i want to step into coke yet, this is kind of an extra thing on the side. Concerta is another brand name for methylphenidate(sp?). I am working on adderall but i've been for awhile and i'm getting kind of bothered that i can't find any. I could get one of these probably fairly soon, like later this week wed. or thurs. I think i'll take that for now, i mean, it'll basically be free. Also, is 20mg good for a first time? or should i go higher/lower thanks BTO

Well, drink on buddy, it's either concerta or ritalin (two brands, same drug) and i think the drug name is something along the lines of methylphenidate.

neither are praticularly fun. they're mostly just good for staying up all night if you need to study of something.

I know, but for some reason it's pretty hard to find some adderall. Other than that, ritalin/concerta (not sure) was layed right infront of me(for free too.) So i'll get it later on this week (probably). I'm going to take it i think, unless you guys think its completely pointless. None of it's pointless if it's what you want to do. 20mg may be a tad low, but I don't know your body. Just be careful and take what you think you should, with our knowledge given to you. Up the dose a TAD bit if you don't feel that you've done enough. Check it out on the internet a bit as you go along, do a little research and find your golden zone.

Let me say something here.

Concerta does have the same active ingredient as Ritalin (Both Methylphenidate), however, Concerta comes in higher doses per pill because it is time released; and if you ask me, is pretty useless to try and get high off of. The pills are actually some sort of hard material comparable to plastic and can't really be crushed to be abused.

Ritalin on the other hand, at least the most common form, is instant release and can be easily crushed up and snorted.

I have to say that I would choose Ritalin over Adderall, Coke, Crack and Dexedrine any day of the week. It's by far my favorite "upper". I know some people may think I'm crazy for saying that, but hey, different strokes for different folks. Some people don't get off at all from Ritalin, and some like me get a great, intense-yet short-lived, high from it.

I would definitely recommend getting the Ritalin over the Concerta; and also, I would definitely crush it up and snort it. Try 10mg at a time though, since it hits a lot harder via insufflation. After 20-30min or so, try another 10mg, etc. though I would try and stay below 60mg for your first time, and try and spread it over as much time as you can to make it as enjoyable of an experience for as long as possible.
