I re-made friends with an old best friend from 3rd grade, he lives around here, same kid, always honest, and nice. But anyways, we just started chilling 2 days ago, and today I called him up and asked if he could find some alcohol for me, so me and him could drink.

Now, its not the brightest idea throwing in 15 bucks on boose to a kid that you dont know at all. I was wondering should I just let it flow, not worry, I mean its 15 bucks, my mind set towards alcohol isn't like getting ripped off on pot or something.


He's got a sweet knife I was thinking about asking for as collateral until he comes back. I haven't asked him yet.

I trust people really easy, I know him well, and he's never stolen money from me.

What would you all do?.

Get someone else to buy it for you if you don't want to give him the money, got an older brother, or friends who look older or know older people? Failing that just wait near a shop for a while and ask people.

Consider the $15 dollars an investment to see if this kid is actually your friend. If he takes it then you got off easy without having to go through some much bigger bullshit. If he pulls through then cool, you have a trustworthy friend.
