It consists of electronic circuitry which detects the flow of air through the device and activates a small heating element which vaporises a fluid in a removable cartridge. The fluid is mostly propylene glycol with a bit of nicotine.

Proven methods exist for extracting cannabis alkaloids via glycerol.

All but the most burnt out among you can see where I'm going with this. The e-cigs are available on dealextreme.com (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11211) for a meager $36. Propylene glycol is available in fog machine fluid and personal lubricants, I leave it to you to find the purest source. Glycerine may work, but I seem to recall it having a higher vaporisation temp. Worst case, you can dump it in a fog machine and hotbox the whole fucking house.

so get one, and run your extraction of cannabis oils and active chemicals with glycerin. you can find 99% USP glycerin scattered amongst the detritus at finer drugstores nationwide. it's used as an emollient (skin softener and moisturizer)

what's likely to happen is that the inside of the cigarette will get coated with hash oil and precious little of it will aerosolize to the extent that it will get into your alveoli and get absorbed into the bloodstream. anyway....
