 Hunted shrooms- disappointed (South AL, USA)
I went out yesterday, a day after a nice rain and the high was 79. I found NO fungus. No edibles, inactives, actives, poisonous ones, NOTHING.
The fuck's up?

South Alabama, that's not far from here. You know the cow flowers don't start blossoming until late April. You might get lucky and find some earlier but usually its a waste this early in the season.

I was mainly looking for subbs, as I don't have quick access to a cow field. Walked 3.5mi through a neighborhood, a smaller 1mi neighborhood, and spent 45min in the woods. Nothing.
And by south AL I mean the lower half of Baldwin County, south of I-10 and about 5 miles from the Mobile Bay so it should be fairly nice conditions. Idk.
Anyway, would it be worth another look today, anyone?
