But some friends were wanting to try to mix the two, and have 0 benzo tolerance. What would be a safe dose of both to take? And what kinduh effects should they be expecting?

with no benzo tolerance i would say take 2mg... so start with 1mg... drink a bit and see how they feel...

Listen, I have been drunk as fuck, and nodding off handfuls of xanax and vicodin and didn't experience one problem. Just take it slow, if your breathing gets shallow, you will know. Just have friends around you just in case.

Horrible, horrible advice. I sold my friend, with zero tolerance, 10 mg of xanax, told him to take 2 mg and he'll be set. I also told him not to mix with alcohol. I guess he didn't listen to the last part because he drank 500 ml of captains. He usually can handle drinking, but the xanax fucked him up. He blacked out for a while. Then the kid ended up throwing up all night, I thought he was going to have to get his stomached pumped. I stayed up all night making sure he was going to be fine.

Tell him to take 1 mg and drink four beers he'll be happy. The first time I mixed benzos with alcohol, I took 2/3 of a bar and drank a few beers.

mixing benzos and alcohol is a bad idea....just do 1 or the other.

when eating xanax, its easy to forget how many pills you ate, or how much liquor/beer you have drank.

Booze ruins the benzo buzz.....BUT if you insist on mixing the two I'd say start with 3 beers, drop img of xanax...have 3 more beers and do 1mg more....see how you feel and repeat......but expect to not remember much and if your asshole is sore the next day start smelling your buddies pricks LOL

I lost a friend in October to booze and xanax.

Theres a jerky/preppy rich kid frat at my college that LOVES xanax and booze. They actually crush up the shit and mix into into their jungle juice cuz they love how it makes them feel... as a drug lover, this one simply fucking escapes me. Xanax greatly magnifies the effects of alcohol. A usual drinking champ under xanax's spell will turn into a 14 year old girl drinking for the first time. From my experience, xanax and alcohol lead to seriously slowed speech (talking like theyve had 18 beers but in truth maybe 3), knocking a lot of shit over (same as before), getting really sleepy and then falling asleep WAY to fucking early in the night.

My friend who died of booze/pills used to (when he was alive) put 5-10 bars in a 40, stumble around breaking shit, then sleep for 2-4 days straight (waking up to eat/shit/piss, etc)

Yeah, I stopped because it's pretty dangerous. I always did it with very low doses of xanax and I didn't drink much. I felt extremely bad when my friend got sick. If you're going to mix, 1 mg of xanax and 3-4 beers is probably all I'd recommend.
