Paranoia!
This is really weird. It is happening right now. It all started after volleyball practice, everybody's parents were coming for parents' night to sign shit and stuff, so me and my friends were chilling at the table waiting for it to start, when I get the sense of "What the fuck is going on?" I'm sure you all know that feeling. Also I was extremely paranoid, when we were whispering at our table I was 100% sure everybody could hear us and I wanted everybody to shut up. No matter how soft I or we whispered, I couldn't shake the thought of someone across the room hearing our whispers.
I just tried to calm myself but I started freaking the fuck out, I was whispering to my friends constantly to shut up but they wouldn't and I just wanted to get the hell out of there and go to someplace with no noise. All the while the "What the fuck is going on?" feeling was getting stronger and people said I was acting weird, like high without doing any drugs.
Now I come to BLTC because I think this could possibly be drug related. A few weeks ago I started taking Adderall twice a week to help me at school (25 mg XR 2 days a week, one time I did 50mg). Today I did not take it however the two previous days I did so that takes up the two days per week. I smoked weed once last week but no other drugs were used for the last 5 weeks.
Drugs I have done in the past are alcohol (twice), weed (30 times maybe), DXM (three times, last time was two months ago).
So BLTC, do I have psychosis or some shit? I was SERIOUSLY freaking out, it was fucked up.

Re: Paranoia!
This is a classic panic attack. luckily it sounds like it was a relatively mild one.
frequent amphetamine use can cause paranoia, but that is mostly due to sleep deprivation. since you havnt been using adderall without sleeping for the last week, this was likely not the cause of the panic attack.
as ingutted said, all of the other drugs are out of your system by now and couldn't have caused it.
if you're really concerned about it then see a psychiatrist, he will probably reccomend therapy and/or benzos if it becomes a recurring episode.

I got good sleep last night, about 8 hours but the night before I only got 3.
Also hearing that it was probably a panic attack made me feel a lot better. I think that is what it was, and this has never happened before.

ok, you got plenty of sleep so you're fine on that.
as for it never happening before, they can occur for a variety of reasons. sometimes stress causes them, but often there is no direct cause.
i have gotten a few in my life aswell, but it has never been a big enough problem that i needed any professional help for them.
my suggestion is to let it go. if you get another one make an appointment with either a psychiatrist or your regular doctor (who will refer you to a psychiatrist)
Edit: im not qualified to give you any medical advice, im just a psych major who has studied things like this. if you are really worried about the panic attack it wouldn't be a bad idea to make an appointment with a doctor to discuss this one.

Re: Paranoia!
I LOVE that feeling of when everything is going fine and everythings average then suddenly this overwhelming feeling of "Where the fuck am I...wait...what the fuck is going on????" comes over me. IT"S FUCKING GREAT because everytime it always gives you an experience, it takes you out of the ordinary and it's as if your brain really payed attention to everything around you going "WTF"...lol it's great.

you're talking about an existential moment of self realization, not a panic attack.
a panic attack is a terrifying experience of intense overwhelming fear. not fun.

I'm a bitch/troll
Are you fucking serious? You are a pussy bitch. You do not have psychosis from using "speed," it is just adderal at a theraputic dose, queer.
Fucking trolls.

You think you are going into psychosis from two therapuetic adderal doses.
You claim to not be a troll? Then you fill the roll as pussy. GTFO.

Re: Paranoia!
Man... one time I couldn't get a fucking CD opened and I FUCKING snapped... the biggest panic attack I have had to date.
This kind of shit happens, and you will realize that as you get older, it isn't necessarily because of drugs... more so underlying stress.

Re: Paranoia!
I would definitely research biofeedback in case this reoccurs, so that you're better prepared for it. My mom gets panic attacks, and she's learned to deal with it through a sort of biofeedback.

Re: Paranoia!
I used to take adderal and other uppers in the morning to get me going, not a lot, just a normal dose. After a few weeks I started getting panic attacks. The adderal could be the problem I guess.

Re: Paranoia!
Maybe it was an anxiety attack brought on by stress? I don't know it happened to me once, if it starts happening all the time I would start worrying.

Calm down.
He's had an experience which is new to him, and he wants to know what the fuck is going on. He's trying to take care while using chemicals, he is genuinely worried about his mental health, and you're bitching at him for not being as knowledgable/experienced as you?
He's probably a kid (if not, apologies.) Give him a break.
Honestly, I don't give a fuck, this is the internet. But at least stop acting like an insecure elitist wanker.
OP, from the way you described it, it sounds like a minor panic attack, but I'm far from a professional. It was probably just a one-off experience, but if it happens again soon, go and seek help.

You're freaking out over freaking out, and you claim it's due to 25mg adderall.

I dig you WonkierBubble. I've had the same "What the fuck is going on" moments, and they're no fun. It sounds to me like a panic attack/anxiety. I say cut the Adderall out all together.
