I have decided that I have waited long enough, and with shroom season upon me, it's arrival being inevitable in the next couple of months, I must seize the oppertunity at hand.
What I am looking for is a guide to defining magic mushrooms and what some universal indicators might be to expose such a species that is "magic". I have done some research on wikipedia and so forth, yet I am unable to determine some different species of shrooms that are abundant of where I reside (South Australia), of all the types that do grow within Australia, they all seem to be indicated of growing in Perth and such. Though this will not deter myself, and any helpful information and guides would be much appreciated, thank you.

P.s. keep in mind I have been kept a layman at this type of thing, so any lingo or young sass may not be interpreted correctly, on my part of course.

I just go out to the paddocks on a humid morning after a night of rain, Should be heaps. I normally hunt for gold tops, growing out of cow shit, easy to find, always check them and break the stem and it should bruise purple/blue.
