Hyrdrocodone expiring
I recently acquired a fair amount of hydrocodone in liquid form. My only problem with it is that the bottle says that it expired about 15 months ago.
My question is, would this be safe to drink, and would it be as effective?

Re: Hyrdrocodone expiring
Probably yes to both, but there's only one way to find out! ;)
Edit: Actually, pretty much definitely yes to the "is it safe" question. The only thing you need to worry about is the high levels of thickening + refined sugar *blegh*. Oh, and also the dose of the hydrocodone/APAP >_>....

Re: Hyrdrocodone expiring
The expiration date is, according to my way of thinking, just a way to get people to throw out old prescriptions so others don't find and abuse them.

Re: Hyrdrocodone expiring
the worst thing that will happen is that it might have lost a tiny amount of potency. it is perfectly safe, and the amount lost will be negligable.

I've never thought of that, you could be correct, because physically, the pills are FINE. I mean really, drugs that are pressed into pills will last fucking decades if stored properly.

Thats prolly right but it could also be the FDA trying to cover it's own ass since it doesn't want to pay to store and test pills this old.
