Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
This is all coming from a highly inexperienced opiate user here, just so you guys know.
A couple nights ago, I took my highest dose of hydrocodone ever (35 mg). My previous highest dose was 20 mg with ~35.5 mg of diphenhydramine. The experience with that was good, but it wasn't spectacular, and was also definitely 'lacking' something.
This time, with the 35 mg, was actually more or less the same. As soon as I peaked I began to feel some fairly bad nausea, so I smoked some weed. The nausea went away, for the most part, and I most certainly felt much better, but it was all very underwhelming.
It isn't like I wouldn't repeat the experience again if I had the chance, but let's just I'd get addicted any time soon at this rate....
So does anybody know what went wrong here? I mean, can this really be all there is? I waited so long to try this, to get the dose perfect and everything, and it didn't even come close to meperidine!

Re: Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
Nausea happens to those who do opiates. A lot of people bitch about it. Congratulations, you're one of them.
Do MOAR drugs. When you think you've taken too much and you're about to die, take more and that's when you'll have a good high. Stop being a conservative pansy baby, stop thinking you're going to die. Stop thinking you'll get addicted.
You know that thing thats in your head that tells you to stop and that what you're doing is a bad idea? Thats your pussy side and its the first part of yourself (of many parts) you will have to kill before you can live this horrible fucking lifestyle.

Hydrocodone doesn't do shit for me anymore. I can take 140 to 200mg of it and not feel it at all.
Irritaing as hell too...

Equivalent doses of heroin cause less nausea. Just saying.

Re: Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
Where I live heroin or morphine is the best opiate you can really get... hydrocodone and codeien are much more common codeine is pretty weak imo but hydrocodone will fuck anyone up as long as you dont have a huge tolerance

Re: Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
Well, it certainly fucked me up, that's for sure.... I guess it just didn't really live up to the hype; I liked nitrous and meperidine a lot better (yes, I know nitrous is a dissociative, not an opiate, I'm just sayin'...).
But the dose was the only problem, then? I only weigh 130-135 pounds, and I'm pretty sure that 35 mg is well above the recommended 'no-tolerance/first-time' dose. Also, just to be clear here, I'm not afraid of dying from such a small dose, but I can only get so much at one time, and I'm not really in the position where a CWE is possible....

A CWE is always possible. A glass of water and a tshirt. But yeah, I don't do em anyway, though I don't really have to take more than like 35mg to have a good time. I rarely do opiates anymore, but recently got a script from a COOL ass doctor, who I think will give me better shit as time goes along.

Yeah hydrocodone never really did anything worth writing home about to me either unless I took a shit ton of it. Just graduate to some form of oxycodone, percocet or oxycontin, and you'll get that opiate experience you've been longing for. Also, try methadone if you can it's a pretty interesting experience.

Re: Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
Take a higher dose. 40mg is was my starting dose, back when I did that sort of thing, and I'd just take as much as 20mg more if needed.

Re: Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
Ingest a high dose of magnesium, a therapuetic dose of dxm or ketamine, and a little diphenh., 30 minutes before taking your hydro. This will reduce your tolerance and greatly potentiate your high, and also get rid of negative side effects. Guaranteed better results.
I weigh the same amount as you and I can get off 15mg's if i use potentiators.

Re: Hydrocodone... can it really be that weak?
I used to take 45mg (Vicodin ES) + 20mg of Valium daily all in one go when I took Hydrocodone. I orally ingested everything though. And usually ended up smoking alot of pot every day too. I was always impressed with it, but I was only looking to feel good, I wasn't looking for crazy results.
And then I met Oxycodone and almost ruined my life... so I stopped taking pills.

take it more often and the nausea won't hit you as hard after you do it for a while.

Well damn, if it takes so much to get off, then why does everybody recommend such small doses?!
