Tiredness?
I've been drinking a few shots and smoking a couple bowls each night for about two weeks. In addition, I take Rozarem for sleep problems every night but Friday and Saturday.
I've noticed I felt tired more during the day, moreso than if I was just drinking? Can this be attributed to weed? I've noticed I can now hit like a champ, which must be my lungs are eating shit?
Just wondering, I don't fancy myself a big stoner or anything... just like to get high :)

Re: Tiredness?
Most sleep aids will do that.

Problem is I feel it with and without sleep aid. Also, Rozarem isn't like some of the other sleep aids (even the low-dose anti-psychotic ones) I've taken (Seroquel, Ambien, CR, Doxapin, Midazolam, Trazodone).
Always when I used to take it alone I felt refreshed, now I'll wake up but get tired early on.
Not a real big issue, just wondering if it's the weed.

Re: Tiredness?
if you smoke before sleep it reduced the amount of rem sleep most people get.
so that could be part of it, but i usually wake up feeling pretty good if i smoke and then pass out for the night...
but it could also be the sleep aids like sn suggested, most of them will cause that

Re: Tiredness?
Could be the weed man, my wife refuses to smoke on nights where she has to work the next day because she just feels so groggy. Then again, shes an uber lightweight.

Re: Tiredness?
I would stop taking anti-psychotics for sleep. After a few nights of taking 100mg seroquel to go to sleep, I started to sleep 12+ hours and diddn't have any energy at all during the day.

Re: Tiredness?
Yeah i smoke before bed too and am tired during the day. When i dont smoke im tired too but thats becuase i cant sleep without the weed lol. But sometimes i dont smoke and i take some melatonin and i sleep great so i defineitly think the weed makes you tired in the day. But you can mentally tell yourself youre not tired and just be energetic. also drink a cup of coffee or a mocha latte(mmmm) they really help.

Yeah, I cut that shit out fast while in rehab. That and doxapin make you feel like a emotionally-modulated zombie.
Internet-Weed Dude, not cool. Don't go ruining a perfectly good thread to result in a banhammer like that.

Rozerem pretty much does not work.
It says it doesn't make you groggy, but every time I have taken it (like 3 in the last month) I wake up in the morning with my eyes GLUED shut, looking like a chink trying to walk around everywhere, unfathomably tired.
Weed works 1000x better.

Re: Tiredness?
Try drinking orange juice and eating stuff with sugar in it. The combo of weed, booze and sleeping pills make me drowsy too. Drinking a can of red bull a day counteracts the effect though so if I have enough money I drink a can or two of red bull or those other energy drinks a day.
Its weird I decided to quit doing all drugs for a year and I've been going for a few months now, haven't smoked a joint in 6 months, haven't done hard drugs in about 4 months with some rare exceptions and haven't drank in about 3 months. I feel good in general but I'm always drowsy. When I was doing drugs I only used to get drowsy at the end of the day now I'm drowsy all day. I can do physical work and not get tired though so it must be psychological.
