Ok I've been an avid powder cocaine user for years and I've only smoked crack a few select times. The thing is this kid owed me some money and just threw me some crack and got me a stem/pipe with the chore boy in it. He told me after I smoked it to "push" it. I know that has something to do with pushing the chore to the other side of the pipe to scrape up the residue or something like that which can then be smoked up. Do I only push it to the other side once or push it back and forth a bunch of times? I can see some residue around behind where the chore was so I know it's there. After I "push" it, do I just hit it like I would hit a regular crack hit? Sorry, I'm not used to this whole crack culture type of thing, or smoking things in general.

Just heat it gently, JUST a little, and push it back and forth a few times.

I said that because I wasn't sure how tight his chore is, and if it is loose, the extra heat will make it easier to grab, but normally, yes, you are right, it is much better cool, but only as long as the chore is tight enough to scrape it all off.
