I want to sell an old Bong and upgrade to something in the 100 Dollar range.


Where/How do you sell a bong? Can you sell it online? Can you sell it to a head shop? Can it be sold in the classifieds?

It's been used some, but, if it has been cleaned like crazy, can it still be sold?

Also, can anybody reccomend a great water-pipe for around 100$?

Why would someone buy your smelly ass used bong? Try taking it back to a headshop, they'll greet you warmly when they see the drug residue making the bong illegal.

find a pothead under the age of 18... ask them if they want to buy your bong...

This? If you have friends, it should be that hard. Ask them if they want to buy a bong. Ask them if they know anyone who wants to buy a bong. Ask everyone you smoke up with if they want to buy a bong. Everyone likes bongs.

I don't see how it's gross, it's not like you're spitting in it or anything. Although $100 might be a little much for a used bong. It better be a really nice one, I wouldn't even buy a new one for that much. I recommend not setting a price, you'll have to do some negotiating. And think about trading too. Maybe $50, some weed and a nice grinder or something. Perhaps a fraction of the price and a scale if that's more your style. Keep an open mind and you should get rid of it quick.

To the OP: its not like a used car. Getting a new one doesn't mean you need to sell the old one, nor would anybody Buy the old one.

I've sold my old pieces to friends. It's not a problem. If they know you, and you've shared the same piece before, how's it any nastier than putting your lips to something your friend just slobbered into? And yes, so many nasty assholes slobber/drool into their bong.

As long as you clean it before you sell it, and the buyer cleans it himself, it's practically brand new.

I actually met this one dude before because he was asking people on the streets (That came out of a tobacco shop) if they wanted to buy his used bong. My friend jumped at the offer cause it was a nice solid piece. Then the dude said he was a slanger, and boom we got a new connect.

Either sell it to one of your friends, or try craigslist.

Or ya, just keep it tucked away in a bong pouch somewhere safe so if your new bong breaks you have a backup! Or, if you have a 420 party and want to pass multiple bongs around the circle.

You never know when another backup bong will come in handy.

You're right, another bong is handy as fuck. I would either keep it around or give it to a friend.
