Debian and changing folder browsing settings

[grusomhat]

Grr this is starting to get frustrating. When you open a folder it opens a new window and so forth for each new folder. I can right click and go browse but is a PITA. There must some global setting somewhere but I can't find it.

Ahh, any help please.

EDIT: God fucking damnit as soon as I posted this I found it. For those wondering >Desktop menu>Pref>File Managment

Second tab(behavior) and choose open in browser windows.

open a folder

edit -> preferences

go to the "behavior" tab

tick "always open in browser windows"
