You're not supposed to completely fill the tube. Leaving 40%-60% empty will increase performance significantly.

You can't have wires fine enough to make much finer than 400mesh... being why very fine particle sizes are always measured with microns. The conversion back and forth isn't set either so saying -325 mesh doesn't mean much... though you have a general size breakdown with micron, being about 44micron and below...

To show the uncertainty of mesh:
