I currently have a script for instant release adderall. recently I got a few from my buddy who has XR, same 20mg strength...I really like the XR more. I was supposed to see my shrink a few days ago but i missed my apointment, can't get another for a month. thats why i got some off my friend. anyways, I called into the office to ask to have a script ready for me to pick up and asked if I could get the script changed to XR. the secretary said she wasnt sure if the doc would do that without talking to me in an appointment. I placed the order to pick up a script anyways and asked for XR...the script got approved by the doc, but I dont know if what he wrote was for XR or regular...

Anyways, to the point....

Can I change a script for regular to XR just by adding an "XR" after "adderall" myself? to those who have an XR script, what does it say on it? thanks

I don't feel sorry for you not having your pills... but I feel sorry for you because you came very close to breaking the same law as I did around 2 years back (at least 4 court visits :( ) NEVER EVER mark a prescription with anything even fucking resembling ink... I got off very goddamn lucky and you should NOT put XR on the prescription yourself... just go to the pharmacy immediately, and tell them that the doc said it was changing to XR by your request. Tell them that you you can wait while they contact your doctor (the prescription will have some form of contact info) Bring ID for sure, several forms because they will most definitely want to see more than one form...

my brother successfully wrote out over 90 scripts for hydrocodone, got caught up on a few of them, and went to prison for two years. doesn't sound too harsh!

Update:

I went and picked up my original script for instant release (or whatever)... few days later got a new script for the XR. so now I's got both.

There's only two possible ways I foresee this going:
1) I become a hyper productive member of society.
2) I become addicted to amphetamines.

Only time will tell. Gonna go now, haven't slept in days, the hallucinations are beginning to increase in frequency.
